Leupold Standard (STD) Rings are engineered to match up with STD 1-Piece and STD 2-Piece Bases. Although we offer five different ring heights, most hunters and shooters wisely opt for rings that position the scope as low as possible. Leupold STD Extension Ring Sets give you 5/8" of additional ring spacing adjustment, so you can shorten or lengthen your ring spacing on rifles. Extension rings from Leupold that mount on the front of STD and QR bases are available for 1-inch, 26mm (QR only), and 30mm maintubes.

power selector sits on breach at 5-7 power
Pros: well made
Cons: recommended for Sav 16/116 in 375 ruger
Keeping in mind that the pair of rings cost me a little over $20, they are solid. I mounted it to a Marlin 45-70 and have shot all kinds of loads. I have never had one problem since mounting the scope, which is impressive for a $20 pair of rings. ...
