What are the OPMOD changes/improvements? A quick review of the specs and everything seems the same. Why to choose the V1 OPMOD over V2?

I have recently purchased the same model in the V2. And I have the 35 rattler in the V1. Looking at this model that is labeled the optics planet line. It is the V1. This model likely takes two 123 batteries where is the V2 comes with two rechargeable battery packs. Also the button configuration is different than the V2. These buttons are tighter together than on the new versions. The V2’s also now record with sound, whereas the V 1s did not.

Very nice and reliable. Easy to sight in as well. You can save multiple rifles to swap it out. The built in hot spot makes it easy to connect your phone to view videos, control the scope, and record sound.

Knowing i wasnt buying a 5k optic, i was still impressed after i recieved the optic and opened it up. Fairly simple to use, and has all the normal features of civilian grade thermal imaging.

Product Info for AGM Global Vision OPMOD RATTLER TS25-256 Thermal Rifle Scope

The Rattler TS25-256 is a perfect addition to any hunter's arsenal. Equipped with a 25mm germanium lens and a 256x192 resolution thermal sensor, this unit has a detection range of 950 yards, and a base magnification of 3.5X. This base magnification, combined with a wide field of view, makes this scope a truly versatile optic. The Rattler series of thermal scopes were specifically designed to be compact and lightweight, as this not only ensures its small footprint can be used on a multitude of shooting platforms, but also gives the series secondary use as a thermal monocular as well. image

This unit also comes packed with all the features that many Rattler users have come to expect, which include: built-in recording and picture capture capabilities, Wi-Fi hotspot, 8X digital zoom, Picture-in-picture, AGM Connect app compatibility for storing and sharing images and videos, one-shot digital zeroing process, 4.5 hours of battery life on (2) CR123 batteries, external power capability through the unit’s USB-C plug and a high-quality American Defense Manufacturing quick detach mount which quickly allows users to seamlessly shift from riflescope to monocular quickly and easily.
