Our spring tensioned claw system allows the mount to be tightened to fit the variations in tolerances seen on the multitude of AKM rifles commonly available on the market. The enlarged and textured gripping surface of the lever works in concert with the spring loaded locking system that prevents the lever from being worked out of the closed position during fire.
