The aggressive grip texturing helps to lock the pistol into the palm of your hand for a positive locked-in grip. The handgun also employs many safety features such as a trigger safety, grip safety, loaded chamber indicator, as well as a cocked striker indicator to ensure safe and deliberate operation of this weapon. Other notable features include an ambidextrous magazine release that does not have to be flipped/or reversed; the magazine release can be pressed from either side at any time. The Air Venturi / Springfield Armory collaboration XDM series of Airsoft pistols accurately recreates a training version of the real XDM.
