The Barrett BORS Optical Ranging Computer is an integrated electronic ballistic computer that couples directly to your Leupold Mark IV Rifle Scope, acting as the upper rear scope ring. This Barrett ballistic computer puts science at your fingertips. From environmental factors to the angle of your rifle, the constantly-adapting Barrett BORS System instantly takes care of the data work so you can focus on the task of putting lead on target. The BORS Barrett Optical Ranging System for Leupold Mark 4 draws from thousands of tables and taking into account a number of real-time external factors, automatically giving the shooter the exact yardage at which a bullet will hit. This ballistics system from Barrett is like having an army of ballisticians behind every shot.
Once the distance to the target has been estimated, the Barrett BORS ballistic computer can be put into action by simply turning the elevation knob until the LCD displays the target's range. The BORS measures air temperature, barometric pressure and inclination to calculate the ballistic solution for the specified caliber and cartridge. Eliminates the need to count clicks as the distance is shown on the LCD screen.
Barrett 66000-8SYS Integrated Scope Computer fits the Leupold Mark4 M1 rifle scope. Designed primarily to withstand military operations, BORS is rugged and able to operate with a variety of calibers and rifles. Scope and scope rings not included. This model of Barrett BORS must be used with Barrett Scope Rings (sold separately).
