I use these for my .223 because I use a slotted patch holder and like a little more cloth than a .22 cal patch gives

These are the best patches I have ever used along with the Otis Patches. They are a great price and never shed and leave little white fibers all over your gun. Highly recommended.

Ok for your HMR 17, but alittle small for the 22. Tend to leave lint in the barrel and the patches fray quickly when handled.
Pros: Clean well on smaller than .22 cal

What can I say? They're patches! They work fine, the price is good, and the shipping was speedy. Might as well get a bag of 300, they can go pretty quick, especially if use them, like I do, to clean my guinea pigs nose.
