Hornady Custom Grade New Dimension Series I Two-Dies Rifle Set are the industry standard for quality two-die sets and are considered the Hornady of Dies. Purpose-built for reloading these two die sets offer a size die for bottleneck rifle cases and a second die to seat the bullet and crimp the case. The second die in the set is a bullet seater die and is the die that will always be on your press. However, these two dies carry a lifetime warranty against any defects in materials and workmanship. To bring you the best in diesmithing equipment these two die sets have been made with the latest technology allowing for smoother functioning and less friction. This set is made of only the highest quality materials giving you the precision that you need from Hornady. The first die in the series is a size die. The second die in the series is a seater die. This third (and arguably the best) die in the Hornady line of two die sets. The two dies in the set are made with an extremely smooth internal threaded elliptical expander as the first die. This feature alone makes this die the preferred method of many reloaders. The expander also does not pull apart like a ball expander unit which is another reason why this die doesn't need the separate neck expander die. The second die in the series is a seater die. This is because the seating stem and the retainer ring of the retaining ring is a releasing mechanism that prevents side slippage and allows for easy case neck stretching. The third die in the series is a seater adjustment die and it uses a one-piece captive expansion spring. This means the expander doesn't wear out or lose its shape.
