Good fit, made removing the barrel devices possible when they were extremely difficult to remove from the factory. This always after submerging the muzzle in water to loosen the Rockset I imagine they must use.

Use to install new muzzle devices on SR-15 and SR-25. Worked well on both. I did notice that when mounted in vice horizontally, it was not indexed in a way where top/bottom of receiver would be at 12/6 o’clock.

Product Info for Knight's Armament SR-15/SR-25 KAC Barrel Extension Action Wrench

The KAC Barrel Extension Action Wrench is used to securely hold an SR-15 or SR-25 upper receiver in a bench vise so that work may be performed on the muzzle device and/or rail system. It is inserted through the rear of the upper receiver to engage the barrel extension. This tool is compatible with SR-15 E3 and SR-25 Barrel Extensions ONLY. It can be damaged by using it in a standard square lug bolt AR-15 barrel extension.
