do these even come with the barrel nut, or is gi nut needed for this one too?

Nothing comes in the box with exception to what's in the pic. You will need to have a barrel with a standard barrel nut mounted which has had the Delta ring and spring etc, removed to be able to mount this hand guard.

Does this have M-Lok slots on the bottom?

M- Lok is located at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions with pic rail across the top.

High quality handguard. Nice and solid free-float design. Removing the Delta ring and Handguard cap isn't too bad, just take your time and be careful. It really makes the rifle look better and the M-lok is great to have for a light, etc.

I really like this rail. Threw it on my 12.5" SBR with an A2 upper and traditional front sight. It's lighter than the plastic handguards, and allows me to toss a light or my DBAL on the rifle with ease.
