An integral recoil lug on the bottom of the base (Sako TRG) provides a precise fit when bedded to the action, ensuring the Nightforce XTRM stays put when shooting, and resists recoil on the screws that hold it in place. This design ensures the same eye relief for every application, and ensures you always have the perfect base for your needs. The Nightforce XTRM dovetail rail is machined to MIL-STD 1913 standard dimensions, allowing mounting on either right or left-hand actions.
