Yes, man docs indicate "etched reticle" which is black without illumination.

What type of reticle does this scope have? ie red dot, cross hairs, Chevron, accs? Does it have holdover & windage marks?

The Firefield RapidStrike 1-6x24 Rifle Scope reticle is an illuminated BDC reticle. The reticle can be seen in the product images on the left side of the product page.

The Firefield RapidStrike 1-6x24 Rifle Scope will include a cantilever mount as well as a CR2032 battery, throw lever, and honeycomb lens filter.

The Firefield RapidStrike 1-6x24 Rifle Scope is shockproof, however, the manufacturer does not specifically state up to what caliber the scope can withstand. I'd recommend reaching out to them directly for more information.

Will this scope work for a 7.62x39 WASR 10 on an NcStar side mount?

The Firefield RapidStrike 1-6x24 Rifle Scope could be used on a WASR10 with picatinny scope mount. However, the reticle is calibrated for use with 5.56 so the holdovers want be accurate for the given distances with the 7.62x39.

Firefield states their RapidStrike 1-6x24 Rifle Scope is IP67 waterproof and dustproof, fog-proof, and able to withstand up to .338 caliber recoil. So it should be able to function as intended on your Scar 16S.
