I have an m&p sport 2 stock Ar-15 I’m going to change the hand guard out for a longer quad rail of 12.5 inches , will I need a mid length gas tube?

Changing the hand guard doesnt require you to change the gas tube. If you're using the same barrel then the same gas system is the same. If you're changing the barrel then you'll need to know which gas system length the new barrel uses. If it's different from what you currently have then purchase accordingly.

Why are there not any detail specs. The exact length of this tube should be published as there is not a "standard length" for intermediate gas tubes

Will this fit a 11.5” Faxon gunner barrel?

Yes, it will. From what I could determine, Faxon only offers one 11.5" Gunner barrel and it uses a mid-length gas system so you would need the mid-length gas tube under MPN:GT-ML.

Yes, mine came with a ~.400" pin. Fit a Faxon gas block perfectly.

Depends on whether you have a carbine or mid length gas system. Barrel length varies either way.
