The barrel nut uses a standard barrel nut wrench.

Can swap out a radical FQR handguard with this FCR? Meanin,will it be able to go straight on the barrel nut of the FQR without having to replace nuts?

No, the Radical Firearms M-LOK Slim Rail System (FCR) utilizes a different barrel nut than the one used with the FQR handguard.

Has anyone tried installing one on a M&P 15-22? Wondering if it will screw on to the converter nut made for the 15-22.

If you are referring to the Tacticool22 Conversion kit, yes, that barrel nut will accept standard AR-15 handguards. This one will work.
