How come, no Guide Rod & Recoil Spring? Wouldn’t that help complete the Slide?

Guide Rods and Recoil Springs are typically selected separately in order to custom-tune gun performance. As a result, the manufacturer has chosen not to include them in this kit.

Will this work in a Gen4 G22?

The Shadow Systems Slide Completion Kit for Glock Pistols will not work with a Gen 4 Glock 22. According to the manufacturer the Shadow Systems Slide Completion Kit for Glock Pistols is only compatible with G17, G19, G26, G34.

Yes. The Shadow Systems Slide Completion Kit for Glock Pistols will fit and function as intended in a Polymer 80, or any aftermarket slide.

This kit contains parts that are technical upgrades over factory Glock parts. There are plenty of reviews online of users experience with Shadow Systems Slide kits and there are over 40 reviews alone on this page.

It will fit any any Glock double stack 9mm based slide Gen 1-4.

How can this be called a completion kit and how’s there so many good reviews? It doesn’t even state it doesn’t come with guide rod and sprint? dumb

It has the reviews it does because Shadow Systems makes high quality products and this is labeled as a "completion kit" because it is all of the small parts of the slide assembly needed to complete a slide when the major components have been chosen. The barrel, slide and recoil guide rod are all major components of the slide. The image shows what is included and the included parts are clearly listed.
