The TacFire A.C.E Series M-Lok Free Float Handguard will work for any Milspec AR15 upper including your Tacfire upper. This handguard in the model included with your built upper assembly already.

The TacFire A.C.E Series M-Lok Free Float Handguard might work with a 45ACP barrel. However, I recommend contacting the manufacturer to confirm.

These TacFire A.C.E Series M-Lok Free Float Handguards are designed for Mil-Spec AR15's and will not work with and Aero Precision M5. The handguards at the link below will work with an Aero Precision M5, however, if you have an enhanced version of the M5 that receiver is only compatible with Aero Precision M5 Enhanced Handguards.

Does the barrel nut require a special tool to install? Are there any features for anti-rotation?

You can install the barrel nut by hand, although it is recommended to tighten it down using a wrench. You can learn more using our guide on building an AR15 upper linked below.
