Peace of mind
We gear guys spend endless hours looking for the best stuff for the best price. I do it too because the hunt is more exciting than the kill. I finally made a decision to mount the H-2 and Kinetic Development Group sidelock on my Sig MPX. It co-witnesses with the bottom third of BUIS, but since the A...

Not working.
Used MAYBE once I can't remember. Purchased in December 2021. Sat in my safe with no batteries. Went to mount today and tested no joy. Changed battery, again, bunk. Went out and bought new batteries, it worked but after moving the number dial for intensity it went out. Contacted Aimpoint direct...

Aimpoint H-2 w/ QD plate
First optic ever on my first ever rifle (DDM4 V7 Milspec brown). Spent a lot of money on this two items alone, but cried only once. Superb optic with zero sight distortion caused by tinted lenses nor any parallax whatsoever. Crisp, bright 2 MOA dot even with my astigmatism-correxted glasses In short, there are no sacrifices with this RDS....except the decision for what ISNT going to get funded the next couple for months because you spent $$$ on a no-comprimise 1x RDS.
Pros:
- clear glass
- Crisp Dot
- Zero parralax
Cons:
- pricey, but worth it
Best Used for:
- Putting bullets where you want them 0-100 m, and beyond depending on skill.

best marlin 1895 upgrade ever!
Paired with a Marlin Dark 1895 45-70, this very well could be the best upgrade of all time! Seriously though, I have a wide variety of optics on a ton of different rifles. But this is easily my favorite. If I could afford to replace my all of my LPVOs, red dots, and holographic sights on all of my rifles with these Aimpoints I would.

just buy it
Now I see why these are so pricey. Excellent glass clarity. Dot it very crisp. Especially when paired with a magnifier. Usually red dots look blurry to my eyes. This one is very crisp. The lrp aimpoint mount is rock solid. Mine came with clear lens covers which flip down under spring tension.

The hype is a bit much but don’t regret buying
It’s light and compact, the glass is insanely clear, and seems to be built strong, but not as impressed with the red dot not as crisp as I was hoping but for 50 to 75 yards it is just fine. If you have the money buy it.

Micro. H-2
This is definitely to go to red Dot. I have many other models of red Dot because of the reliability and long battery life this is the one I run on my shooter, my primary weapon. Some model red dots I would consider only recreational use cuz of their reliability and tendency to have some type of a battery failure or return to zero failure this little optic is expensive but worth every penny I will probably be buying another one thank you optics planet.
Pros:
- small size
- Small Profile
Cons:
- price
Best Used for:
- Heavy use or any situation where reliability is required

Pros:
- light ,tracking is good ,lots of light adjustments ,
Cons:
- Little pricy
Best Used for:
- home defence, hunting

AimPoint micro H-2
I bought this to mount on a hunting revolver. This is a solid well made optic, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. The clarity rivals all the competitors, and the flip up lense covers are a welcome addition and offer added protection in bad weather. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I did a lot of comparison shopping and I couldn't find a better product in this catagory by any other manufacturer.
Pros:
- Flip up lense covers, light weight and compact, crystal clear lenses
- crystal clear clarity, flip up lense covers, compact and lightweight.
Cons:
- hi cost
- High price point.

Aimpoint Micro H-2
High quality red dot optic. Pretty intuitive and easy to use. I swore that I would never use anything but open sights for the longest time. Your field of view with the Aimpoint is better than with open sights when shooting with both eyes open.

As good as it gets.
This is as good as it gets for an RDS at this point in time. Durable, light, accurate, long battery life, low to no distortion and parallax. I prefer the H2 over the T2 because I don't have night vision and the H2 has more intensity settings. The only downside is the cost. Scalarworks makes the best mount. The ADM and Larue have both been solid too.
Pros:
- durable
- long battery life
- Accurate
- Clear
- light .
Cons:
- Expensive
Best Used for:
- close to medium range
