Allen tactical gun sock
Fits AR platforms with scopes perfectly and easily. Protects my scoped AR and is easy to put on and take off. Highly recommend and matches the description better than other rifle socks listed as tactical.
Excellent Short Sock
Exactly what I needed, for a Henry 9mm PCC, and another for a Marlin 1854 357.
Pros:
- fits
- Quality and price
Cons:
- none so far
Would recommend: Yes
Perfect size and fit
This gun sock is made of quality material that won't leave lint on a clean and oiled rifle. I use them for my rifles with grips and opticts, and the sock stretches enough to accommodate all the lights, lasers, scopes, and fore end protrusions without bagging up like some old sweatpants at the end of a workout. It works, keeps the gun clean, protects it from scratches, and doesn't hang up in the safe. Reccomended especially for the price.
Pros:
- Price
- Fit
- Material
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Lumpy rifles

A Little Extra Protection
These gun socks are just great.
Great value.
I got the 42" versions and they fit everything from a 20" AR-15 to a 16" with an optic... from an 18" pump gun to an SKS rifle. They stretch in all directions to accommodate pistol grips and optics.
All good.
Just slip it on and put your long guns in the gun safe. They're protected from prying eyes, as well as from banging around inside the safe. Living in California, earthquakes are a thing and these give you some peace of mind.

Very good quality and great value.
These fit all of the firearms in my collection. Very stretchy, soft, thick and durable. These are impregnated with enough silicone oil for worry free storage. Fits my cruiser shotguns all the way up to my 45” 300 win mag with ease. Definitely a great gun sock for the money. Allen products never disappoint me. I love their cotton bore patches as well.

- Quality, price, design

These work great and stretch to cover a scope
I like these covers. They generally stretch nicely, although I did have one tear apart on me. But, it can stretch to cover a scope and bipod. Keep close tabs on the drawstring though as it can get yanked out and it is a pain to work it back in. Still, for the cost, I would say they are well worth it.
Pros:
- Stretches
Cons:
- tears

PTR91 fits
It is able to conceal my PTR91 with ease even with a magazine attached. It does have a lace at the opening so you can close up the sock like a sack. There is not a whole lot more I can say about a sock designed to protect and conceal a rifle while carrying outside.

Exactly what I was looking for...
I needed to get another pair of Allen gun socks for my 2 SKS rifles: I changed the stocks on them and needed socks that were a bit WIDER so they wouldn't fit so tightly over the Tapco stocks I got to replace the original SKS wood stocks (which I am keeping, of course, so the guns can be returned to original condition in the future). Originally, the "standard width" Allen gun socks (often the green ones you find in sporting good stores and often 54" in length, IIRC) were on the SKSs, and they worked just fine width-wise (had to fold the tying end over as 54" was too long for an SKS) as the rifles were in their original wood-stock configuration -- with no optic sights on them -- so the "standard width" gun green socks fit perfectly width-wise. But when I changed the stocks on both SKSs to the Tapco synthetic stocks, I found the Tapco's butt-plate/pad was wider than the original SKS wood stock butt-plate AND the Tapco stock has a pistol-grip on it (unlike the original wood stock), so both of these "protrusions" stretched the "standard" green gun socks too much (wide) for my liking. Additionally, I added a SightMark QD Reflex Sight (Model SM14000) to both SKSs (atop the gas tube "forearm" assembly on the picatinny rail the Tapco stock has) and that ALSO was a bit much for the "standard" green gun sock to cover (don't like overstretching these socks). Consequently, from the sparse product description that EVERYONE gives on these gun socks (NO ONE give their actual dimensions widt...
