After researching for the best thermal scope for the money, I went with the ATN Thor 5 XD LRF 4-40X. The function and clarity of this thermal scope for predator control is outstanding and is a game changer. However, just like with all electronic equipment and tools, they need to be serviced. (My scope was not holding its charge). I visited the ATN support page on their website and completed an RMA form and followed the easy to follow instructions. "For your reference, please have your receipt available, the make, model, and photo of the QR code on the ATN product you wish to service*. I received a follow up email from Rod Gerard the next business day and had my scope sent out via a mail carrier the same day. Rod Gerard excelled in our communication and instilled confidence in me knowing that someone actually answered on the other end. I own several ATN thermal scopes and I am glad, knowing that I can rely on a company that backs up the warranty on their products.

The unit is great and does so much that is somewhat intimidating. There really needs to be. 45min +/- to show us noobs how to properly operate the scope. I have 2 college degrees and I still find it confusing

you cant beat the quality, clarity, and functionality of this scope. It takes a bit of navigating to operate in the dark especially if you use a lot of the cool functions. However, the dark light navigation will catch up with the coolness of all of the functions by simply using the product.

Love it and would recommend to anyone interested!!!!

A complex device to set up with lots of menus and options but once it is set up, wow! what a magnificent device

The ATN Thor5 XD with LRF is a fantastic thermal optic. I had been on the fence on jumping on the thermal bandwagon. I am extremely happy I did. Its is a great optic and easy to use. Set up was a snap along with zeroing it in on range. The multiple heat signature color choices are amazing. I prefer the white hot. Easy identification and accusation of targets.

We have a full season of use on our scope now and continue to be fully satisfied with the product and the folks that stand behind it. Any questions we have are answered quickly and succinctly. The scope has taken game animals in the full brightness of day time hunting as well as hogs and predators both day and night. Awesome product. Easy to use. Very consistent. Has gotten my wife hooked on evening predator and hog depredation hunts with me. We hunt in an area with widely varying terrain from river bed low lands to highlands with canyons. The integral LRF and onboard ballistic calculator keep us deadly accurate no matter where the target becomes available. We highly recommend the product as well the company. Great folks providing great support of a great product. We also have the BlazeHunter LRF and that is for another 5 star review.

I love this scope and when the lens cap broke, My at ATN customer support was quick to help. 10/10 scope and customer support team.

Haven't had time to actually work with the scope to find out it's full potential. But I feel like it's a very solid scope

I would like to split my review into three parts, focusing on; The functionality of the X-Sight 5 LRF scope, The implementation of said functionality, and the customer and the technical support I have received during my interaction with the ATN representatives.

Functionality - 4.8 out of 5

The wide range of capabilities offered by The x-Sight 5 LRF scope is presently unmatched by other digital night vision products, ranging from high resolution of the display, streaming and recording capabilities, integration and ease use of the laser remote finder and the ballistic calculator, user friendly zeroing capabilities, and recoil activated video. The scope is also fully configurable through the use menus controlled by the keypad keys and/or the use of the remote control as well as using the mobile application supporting the scope over the WIFI. These are just a few capabilities, making this scope a prime contender among digital night vision scope offerings.

There are two additional capabilities I would like to see in the next generation of the product. On is the voice activation and control functionality allowing for a voce control of the scope instead of, or in addition to the current kay based control. The second addition to the functional offerings of the product is the integrated battery pack slot allowing for insertion and replacement of the standard battery packs, 20000 mA and over, as needed This functionality ought to be a priority since the power supply will always be a...
