Works as advertised
This is a great night vision scope and it's great for hog hunting. It is a lot smaller and lighter than the infrared scopes I have ever used before. Zeroing was really easy. Scope works exactly as advertised, clear sight pictures even at 100 yards. It's easy to tell your target from foliage and brus...

Buyer Be Ware - Does not work as advertised!!!!
I have had multiple X-Sight units and I am still trying to find one that actually works as advertised. My latest unit is the just released X-Sight 5 LRF 5-25X and currently ATN has back in there shop now trying to figure out why it will not come on. The first X-Sight 4 unit I owned had to be replac...

Good, but not enough for $1000++
Have mine about 4 months, has potential but takes much effort and time. Major issues, 1. Focus control, almost impossible to turt the focus ring, I added a large zip tie. 2. Sight picture quality, good at 100y, grainy at 200. 3. Software, program gets stuck, requires reboot. 3. User guide minimal, need to figure it out yourself, customer service only marginally helpful. 4. One shot zero is nice but adjustment does not allow fine tuning, especially at zero of 200 yd or +. 5. BC for distance works well after you enter all detail and actual fps.
Pros:
- Day and night capable for under 200 yds.
Cons:
- See Review
- Marginal sight picture. Hard to turn focus. Minimal user guide info. Limited zero adjustment for x,y.
Best Used for:
- Short range, 50 to 150 yds

SOME SOFTWARE BUGS, SLOW SERVICE RESPONSE
I have some thermals and I reviewed several including the Thor line, in the past few years. This scope is interesting and overall I would give it a 4 except for the slow response to questions and the non answer received when I asked about the zeroing coordinates.
A couple of points
1. The view is great at 3x, not so great at 15x
2. The scope failed to respond 3 time in the first 2 days I had it. One time I had to do a hard reset by holding the off button 15 seconds.
3. The one shot zero works pretty good
4. I am not confidant the BC is very exacting. I am having a good bit of difficulty sighting at 100y and getting accuracy at 200y. I do my own loads, have SD at under 20 and 1/2 moa at 100y.
5. At 200y I am off 2+ inches. Still working on how to adjust for this. Not much help from service so far. There are x,y coordinates for the zero but no info on how much the POI changes when the x,y changes (at any yardage, say 100y)
6. So while the zero at a specific distance seems to work well, the BC calculation needs some adjustment and ability to fine tune.
7. Not sure of battery life in cold climates
That's all for now.

- lots of bells and whistles
- comes with mounting and IR light
- LRF seems accurate and responsive
Cons:
- fuzzy at 15x
- no info on x,y coordinate changes
- still some software bugs
- a bit heavy, 3.5 lb or so loaded

So far so good!
So far, I love the X-Sight 5. I also have owned the X-Sight 4 with the added ABL 1000 for a little over three years and it has been great! The only downfall to the X-Sight 5, which is not ATN's fault, is that I bought the X-Sight 5 (non-LRF) believing that I could simply purchase another ABL 1000 from ATN and add it on the same as I had done with the X-Sight 4. However, ATN has advised that the reason I was having issues is because the ABL 1000 is NOT compatible with the X-Sight 5. Knowing my situation and stupidity, ATN stepped up are helping me make it right so I will soon be using (and reviewing) the X-Sight 5 LRF.

hog hunt winner
Bought this for a hog hunt and I ended up winning. All the calculations this scope makes, made it almost unfair for me but it was in my favor so...... haha, but seriously I love ATN and all of their products.

Amazing product for Day and night hunting
I love using ATN's IR scopes for hogs in South Texas. ATN's Laser range finder with ballistics calculator is amazing and makes my gun a tack-driving machine. I highly recommend it. I did have one issue with the focal ring being tight but Kelly Prince in their returns department was super helpful and prompt in getting this worked out.
Pros:
- durable
- Affordable
- Customer service
- technology
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- hunting
- Deer
- Hogs

It wasn’t the one I wanted but it will do.The one I wanted was the grey one but it didn’t look like it was going to ever come in, so I swapped it for the black one.

Customer Service
I have had this scope for just over a year and I love it. Had a few issues with RAV. Just recently was unable to update the firmware and spoke with Rod Gerard. He quickly explained what was going on and sent a prepaid return shipping label to send in my scope to be updated. Im pretty sure the turnaround time will be short just as it was when I purchased the scope. ATN knows how to take care of their customers.

Fantastic Scope
This is my first foray into night vision equipment, and I'm thoroughly impressed. The image quality is crystal clear, and the night mode performs well even without the IR light—add the IR, and it's exceptional. It mounted easily on my rail, though it does add some weight, so keep that in mind if you're stalking or keeping it at the ready. The scope comes with a nice case and charging cord, which are great additions. The features for recording or taking pictures are solid. Overall, for the money, this is a pretty good buy. Highly recommended for anyone stepping into night vision tech.

Awesome scope!
I purchased this day and night vision scope to enhance my predator hunting capabilities, and it has exceeded my expectations. Before buying, I learned from several reviews that the included IR light was effective up to 150 yards. Opting for an upgraded light, I was thrilled with the results. Now, I can spot coyotes from over 500 yards away without any issues, giving me ample time to steady myself for the perfect shot. The scope's performance for the price is outstanding. I only wish I had invested in this scope last hunting season! Highly recommended for serious hunters.
