Most Helpful Positive Review Badass Sight
Love this sight post so much I bought one for all my iron sights. The glow is a must for low light shooting. Everyone that looks at my rifle always complements the sight post. They work in A2 gas block sights and magpul flip ups!

I don't need no stinkin batteries,...

by KM, Verified Owner from NC, United States Written on January 22, 2026
extra weight, or bulk. There's a reason they seem to stay sold out. If you like irons, you'll dig these. The Red Chevron is super easy to pick up. I will not remove them. 1" group at 100yds is possible with the ammo your rifle likes. Seems to be to good to be true. I have not found a reason not to have.

best irons upgrade

by falconpunch13, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on December 28, 2023
I have replaced every front sight post I own, it’s literally like having an additional red dot

They make percussion iron shooting next level, you can look through the aperture, it’s different at first but you can make percussion shoots at distance much easier and you have holds with triangular chevron10/10
Pros:
  • rock solid
  • Easy instal
  • Glow at night
  • Bad assery
  • afforable
  • percice aming point
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • CQB
  • Distance

Easy acquisition sight!

by Paul Black, Verified Owner from OH, United States Written on November 8, 2023
This is a fairly good sight post. The orange portion of the sight is not luminous as their yellow/green chevron sight. That is where it lost 1 star. The tritium dot isn't super bright as well. Best part is quick target acquisition. If using night vision goggles this sight performs very well. The mission of this sight is close encounters, not particularly useful at longer ranges as it obscures the field of view.
Pros:
  • Easily acquired in close combat
Cons:
  • Not luminous
Best Used for:
  • Close combat encounters

Perhaps the best upgrade you can make to a front sight post

by Jim, Verified Owner from CT, United States Written on March 31, 2023
For me, I slap these on almost every build. I like to use the green/yellow color post inserts with red dots and red color inserts with green dots. These provide me a ton of acquisition speed on a single dot reticle. HK style front sights work best IME.
Pros:
  • Inexpensive
  • fast
  • Works well with HK Sights
  • Tritium option
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • CQB
  • Speed transitions

Best upgrade for iron sights

by Jake Lind, Verified Owner from IN, United States Written on December 18, 2022
Best upgrade I have for my 22lr AR, it is a great change from the odd post that the factory A2 comes with. It was an easy install with the tool, I recommend getting one of those as adjustments are also easier.
