Picked these up to shift a scope forward just a smidgen on a lever gun. These allowed me to adjust the scope to get better eye relief alignment and avoid spent brass ejecting and tapping the bottom of the windage turret. Construction is robust and solid, and the finish is consistent and nicely done.

Picked this up to add to a 10mm 1911. Typical disassembly process. While I had it apart I tuned the trigger a tiny bit, but thats not the point of this review. The magwell mainspring housing is a great design, with excellent fit and finish. I am very pleased. It matches the black hardware on my pistol nicely (your mileage may vary) and looks factory with the added magwell grips I picked up. Installation was easy and straight forward. Swapping over the mainspring and pins was textbook easy, and the entire install.kight have taken 15min, from knocking the MSH pin out of the frame to start, to knocking it back in and testing the trigger and safety function. The magwell is tight and unobtrusive so it won't interfere with carry if this is your preferred carry pistol, either.

This is a nice little ambi charging handle I got as a "free" accessory alongside a handguard purchase. Reality is, I'm sure the price of the CH was built into the price I paid for the HG.
It's well built, and seems sturdy enough. Finish is nicely done with an even matte black that is rich and seems more than skin deep on the piece, as it's not wearing off like some cheaper CHs I've seen (including one I bought from Optics Planet a while back that seems to function well enough but is turning silver the more I use it...). Initial impressions are good with a couple of caveats. I've had it a couple of weeks, so not a ton of firing line time with it yet. It's rigid like a good CH should be. It seems to fit snugly and has no play in my upper receiver. I have not had a chance to test the gas diversion feature of this CH yet as I don't yet have my can on this upper. I'm hoping the diversion works well enough. I may add a thin layer of black hi-temp silicone sealer to the face of the handle where it meets the receiver, to aid in sealing gas from blowing back into my face after the can is on, but for now I'm not experiencing any issues with blowback. Overall this is a functional and useful CH.
Now, what are the caveats? First, the latch portion seems a little stiff, and sometimes doesn't return fully to battery if I ease it down or don't let it slam forward. I'm hoping that will abate with time as the entire mechanism wears in a bit. I also think it may be related to a n

Picked up the 9.7" version for an SBR upper build that is a 10.5" 300BLK setup. Handguard is nicely finished, heavy enough to be sturdy, and comfortable in the hand. Seems like it's built well enough to be durable in the long-term, but I've owned it for less than a month so I can't make a definitive statement on durability. The supplied barrel nut is robust and will hold well. It fit my 1 1/4" crow-foot perfectly for torqueing the barrel in place. Retention is good, though a slightly different design than I'm used to on other handguards. This one uses two small wedges cross-bolted into openings on the right/left of the handguard. Unlike other HGs I've installed, the cross bolts don't ride in slots in the barrel nut. Instead the inner portion of the two wedges ride in a wide groove in the barrel nut. They do a good job keeping the whole thing from being able to slide forward. The top rail is picatinny spec, but not as tight as I might like for some accessories. Had no trouble installing an MBUS front sight on the rail, and it's so far not shifted or moved. I don't think it will be an issue, though if you were going to forward mount a red-dot or some other electronic sighting device (mine is on the receiver, not the rail), the slightly oversize slots might present an issue. I'd rather have a little extra clearance than the slots be too tight, though, so overall not a huge issue. Like I said, the MBUS hasn't moved yet so I'm good. Mlok slots on this HG are good to

Ordered this as part of an ongoing project to improve and dress up my RIA 1911 a bit. Install was straight forward, after pulling the RIA MSH out of the gun during a full detail strip. I swapped the internals over from the old MSH (which turns out was a very well done checkered flat metal housing, not the plastic I'd anticipated when I bought the gun, based on internet forums) with zero issues aside from the usual pain in the neck in getting the MSH retainer pin in place. Installed the new magwell MSH on the pistol and it looks great! Fit is nice and tight, but not overly so. Magwell sits nearly flush to the base of the frame - have to hold it just right to see a sliver of light protruding. I could probably adjust the magwell arms a bit but it's not noticeable so I'll leave it alone. Inside the magwell, the arms align to the frame (which was already slightly beveled internally) very well, so no fitting or smoothing was required. Overall, This piece is great, and the black color matches the RIA factory black accessory color on the beavertail grip safety, hammer, thumb safety, and slide release, so it looks like it came from the factory with this magwell MSH. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a simple, secure, quality upgrade. I considered the Ed Brown part with the cap screw holding the magwell arms to the MSH, but decided I thought this one had zero chance of shaking loose with it's tongue-in-groove style fitment. That was a little fiddly to get perfectly

Picked up this 15Deg grip for an AR for longer reach. Coupled it with a fixed stock with a bit longer length of pull and am very happy with the results. The more vertical grip angle works well in a precision shooting scenario from seated, kneeling, and prone positions in my configuration, compared to the standard grip angle I have used. The grip is durable, and seems to be pretty consistent regardless of temperature. It's a different feel than the more common Magpul grip texture, but it offers good purchase for my hands and in fact may be slightly more abrasive on the front- and backstraps of the grip than the Magpul, for longer periods of use. Due to the abrasive quality, my gut level, unmeasured assessment is that in sweaty conditions there may be a bit of extra grip with this texture than the Magpul, though that's no more than a "maybe this is the case" kind of assessment. I will say for extended shooting sessions, I may convert to a gloved hand configuration based on the more abrasive front- and backstrap texture.
Not sure what the guys complaining about it being flimsy or low quality are seeing, but mine has been run through the gauntlet in wringing out the new rifle platform. I've run it at the bench, prone, and in mobile/multiple shooting position drills in real-world conditions. No quality issues have been seen.
I will say I like the rubber plug in the bottom better than the plastic plug for my Magpul grips. It is easier to remove/install. It does not offe

Picked this up on the cheap to toss onto a bargain build. Works well enough. Finish scrapes off easily on the sides from riding inside the upper receiver - even with a liberal coating of EWL, as I run my ARs wet. I think this is directly related to the less robust build. Not sure if the material thickness is not up to what my other charging handles are, but this one flexes a lot more than other CHs I have, even the cheapie milspec ones from build kits. Description says it's 7075-T6, but it really feels like maybe it's 6061. Maybe that's the material thickness but either thickness or alloy is giving me a lot of flex with this piece. I wouldn't put this on a defensive-use rifle. It works fine on a range gun for plinking and coyote control (where a problem won't cost me my life).
At this point, price has gone up a fair amount from what I paid (over 30%) and I don't think I'd buy it at the current price of $35.

Grabbed this to take the crimp out of a bunch of milspec brass. Started in and did a 3lb Folgers tub full of 556 brass in just a little while. I use this on my case prep center so it's motorized. Ran the depriving in my press, then sat with two coffee tubs and pulled deprived case out of one, cleaned the primer pocket, removed the crimp, and tossed it into the other tub. Quick and easy!

Snagged on of these in 15" on sale for a 6.5Grendel hunting rifle wearing an 18" barrel. Swapped out a 13" free float I first put on that build just to gain a little more fore end. The 13" is fine and will go on another build some time. But the 15" offers just enough more hand grip area behind the bipod mount to be perfect. The finish on this handguard is a nice, even matte black which matches my upper (PSA) and lower (Amderson) anodizing nicely. Fit was great, and I have zero idea what the other reviewer was talking about as there is no indexing of the barrel nut required on this handguard. Maybe he had an earlier model? Anyway, grabbed a torque wrench and the right sized crow's foot and put the barrel nut to 45ft-lbs. Easily and quickly mounted the handguard with the supplied hardware. The design is secure and the anti-rotation tabs are nice and snug at the upper receiver interface. Took care not to overtighten the clamping bolts as my brother (who bought one of these right before I did) said his stripped with too much retorque when he pulled the handguard off to clean under it. On a good note he said Aim was good and sent him new hardware at no charge. After having this on a few hundred rounds through two different rifles, I'd say it's maybe one of the best deals out there on free-float handguards.
