I've been through a few adjustable gas blocks as I'd rather control the gas myself from the front of the rifle. Not really a fan of changing the gas inside of the rifle (adjustable BCGs). SAA gas block gives you two different ways to bleed the gas off or block it off. More options would be the main reason to purchase this gas block. Be sure to watch the SAA video on youtube.

This add-on to the 6 o'clock position of JP enterprises handguard allowed me to add my picatinny Magpul bipod, instead of having to use one of the suggested $400 options. It is a little bulky though and I've heard that there is also a Magpul option. Not really sure though.

After installing a scope perfectly with this mount, I will never use another mount again. Yes, they are pricey, but they are well worth it. Keep in mind that the cantilever mount does not have the bubble in the back, but Spuhr does make an add on level for $90 which went pretty well with my 6mm ARC holding a Vortex Viper PST GEN II 5x25. When you spend so much time and resources on a custom-built rifle and glass to go with it, there is no point in cheeping out on what attaches the two together. The wedge is awesome. Say goodbye to matching up levels and making sure one of them sits on the picatinny rail correctly when you have a wedge which will ensure that your scope is completely level without any doubts.

As the title says, this is the best scope mount I've ever seen. You don't have to worry about getting your bubble levelers to be perfectly flat as they include a wedge designed to ensure that your scope is mounted precise every time. This one is a tad lower than others, but I do have a riser so with this mount my scope is the exact level with my cheek weld. Also, twelve screws with special coating ensures that you don't have to mess with any loctite or vibratite to ensure your scope is mounted sturdy.

These scopes have the best glass that I've seen for the amount spent. I have compared them with many more expensive optics and end up always going back to Vortex. The PST Gen II has almost everything the Razor has, but at a reasonable price range. Is it a Razor? NO. But for the money the Viper PST Gen II can't be beat. I will say that between Vortex and Primary Arms, the decision is difficult, as Primary Arms also makes a great optic with some pretty awesome reticles at a solid price point, but I couldn't say no to the deal Optics planet was offering on these. I also have a gen I PST, and it hasn't failed me yet. As for my GEN II 1-6x, I got a dent in it from dropping it and Vortex was quick to offer to fix it immediately even though it was my fault. No questions asked. Thats what I call a warranty with unbeatable customer service. Get a Vortex, and you won't be disappointed. I will check back and add a new review after I try out my 6 mm ARC at 1000 yards with my 5-25x PST Gen II scope.

Not only is this actually anodized correctly, but it is a perfect match to the rest of the rifle. There are not too many of these types of risers around and I can honestly say, from my research, this is the best of them. It is a very sturdy 20 MOA and with the 1/2" bolts you can apply some serious torque so that you never have to worry about your zero shifting.

Ok, so it looks great, and doesn't weigh much which I thought was phenomenal...initially. I noticed that after a few range trips the epoxy which holds the rails to the carbon fiber, had split as I used my lower rail for a vertical grip. Maybe that should be a recommendation of what not to do. The epoxy is not strong enough to hold the lower picatinny rail to the carbon fiber. So, I decided that I would make a change of the upper and this is where it got really bad. Apparently, this is not a very high temperature epoxy, as I had to utilize some heat to remove the Loctite. Instead of the metal part coming loose from the barrel after already loosening the jam nut (probably not enough heat), the entire carbon fiber portion of the handguard came apart from the metal.
At this point I attempted a strap wrench to remove the metal part from the barrel nut, yet to no avail. Finally, I had to drill a hole through the metal and used a pin and hammer to release the barrel nut all together. After the great deal of money spent, I would have expected two things. A higher strength epoxy and given that it is in direct relationship with the barrel, a high temp epoxy. I gave it two stars though, because if you're careful enough, it is pretty cool looking.
In the future I would have gone with their other model then the Atlas as the epoxy seems to be a big weak point, and it's the only thing that holds the picatinny rails on. With all of the parts finally off of my upper and in the trash (where

Fit perfectly on the 6:00 position of my MKIII JP Enterprises Handguard. I didn't think the look could be improved until I added the 4" sectional to the guard. I added it so that I could add the magpul bipod as I use them on all my precision rifles. It is a very sturdy rail. I would almost remove a star for cost, but once you see the quality of the rail you'll understand why I didn't. Of course, a great deal from optics planet.

As stated in the title this is a perfect extension for those who like everything within reach of their index finger without any real shifting of position. It does take a little work getting the extension to match up just right with the mag release, which is why I always make sure to get a sturdy magazine release and replace the button with this one. Recently I utilized strike industries mag release which was more than sturdy enough to handle the "off" angle that this extension presents to regular LPK magazine releases. Before that I've used many titanium magazine releases as well with success.

I was actually lucky enough to stumble upon this on my first AR build. I though it looked great and I remember shooting my old bushmaster (yes I know now), anyways, I remember how hard it was to lock the bolt back at the range which is what is required when you go to change your targets. I saw this and didn't really understand what it did, but it looked cool so I bought one. Little did I know, my next range trip would be the last one with a "normal" bolt catch ever again. This thing is phenomenal when chambering the BCG. It is so convenient I don't even know how I went without one. I do have a magpul version of the BAD lever, but this one is much "tighter" with less wiggle room. Not that its really magpuls problem given that theirs simply attaches to whatever milspec boltcatch you may be using, but this is the only, single, uniform, bolt catch that moves the access to the bolt catch directly to your fingertips without ever getting in the way of shooting, etc. Also, I've never hand any issues with the bolt accidentally releasing either incase that was a concern, instead it seems to lock back much better as well with a simple flick of the index finger. If you get one of these you wont be sorry. I've seen the previous versions and it looks as if they finally nailed it right on the V3, and yes, it does still look pretty cool with good machining and an excellent finish.
