I purchased (1) Black & (4) Stainless Steel TacFire Linear Compensators - all in the .223/5.56 size. The bore diameter of the black compensator is 0.393", more suitable for 9 mm. The diameter of the SS compensators are 0.267", ideal for the .223/5.56.
I returned the black compensator in exchange for the SS. I hope I receive the same as the other four.

I just recently learned about linear compensators and decided to try the TacFire models because of reviews & price. I bought two: black one for my recently purchased Savage 110 Trail Hunter in .223 and its threaded barrel; and the other (SS) for my new BCA .22 WMR upper receiver. I took them both out this weekend (March 01) and the difference with the .223 was very noticeable. Even though the .223 has relatively less muzzle blast, the difference was in the amount of blast & pressure wave coming back to me as the shooter. The .22 WMR sounded like a .22 LR, being behind the muzzle blast.
By the way, both rifles shot sub-HALF-MoA.
I will recommend the linear compensators to those who shoot Match Rifles in High Power Rifle matches, as we shoot 88 rounds per match, and are fatigued by the barrage of pressure waves that hit us during the matches. The linear compensators will also benefit the shooters to either side of the shooter using the compensator.

Picatinny Rail bases for the CZ 527 are difficult to find. The MDT base is solid, easy to install and just what I need for my CZ setup.
I subtracted one star because it is 6061 aluminum instead of 7075, which would make the base almost perfect.

I was excited to see a knife sharpener that advertises that it sharpens & hones, but it actually dulls the knife when the blade contacts the bottom of the "V" in both slots. Following the instructions to a tee, I tried with different amounts of pressure with the same result.
I actually sharpened the knife on stones and got a decent edge, then ran it through the hone slot and could see that the edge was removed when I looked at it under magnification. Maybe I got a bad sample, but it has been returned.

My initial review (2017/02/04) of the scope was about the features of the unfired with scope. After shooting over 100 rounds, I & Burris determined that the scope was irreparably defective. Also, after looking through the scope for all those rounds, I began to notice that the sight picture was much worse than looking through the scope before I mounted it to my rifle. First one I ordered had the wrong reticle (box was correct). Replacement had defective adjustments (5-6 MoA elevation, 3-4 MoA windage) and the view had aberrations. Hand-delivered it to the Burris factory in Greeley, CO. Received a call 6-weeks later saying the scope is unrepairable and that a replacement will be available in 2 months (end of September). Since Burris has no other scope I that interests me, I will wait for the same model and hope it works as advertised.
If I receive a works-as-advertised scope, I could bump the rating to 3 stars. Stay tuned!

I bought this trigger expecting it to be close to the Rock River, but smoother because of the Nickel-Boron finish. I returned it because the first stage is very gritty & short (feels like the creep on a run-of-the-mill "MIL-Spec" single-stage trigger that comes with just about every pre-built rifle or lower kit). The second stage is heavier than I expected, but crisp (other than low price, this is the only positive I found). All my builds are triggered with Geissele and Rock River 2-stage triggers. Both of these brands are well worth their prices (RR only a few $ more than this FMP trigger). As a High Power Rifle Master Classified shooter and AR operator in just about every other type of shooting, I know my triggers, and the FMP failed to live up to my standards - even with its low price.
It would be nice if FMP evaluated the geometries of the trigger & hammer to give a slightly longer first stage, and polished the surfaces before applying the Ni-B coating. Maybe their Gen 2 (that is the trend with so many companies who need to improve their products) Groups will be better. I will never know.

I love my M1A NM, but the walnut stock is just too difficult to shoot with in the three positions. Since I predominantly shoot the AR-15 platform for competition and plinking, the Archangel stock is the closest to the AR configuration for the M14.M1A.
Installation was a lot easier than what many of the other posters stated. After looking for the "interference", I noticed that there was a pivot-point on the barreled action, just in front of the receiver/mag-well area. Short story: I filed some material off of where the front barrel band hooks to the end of the fore-end until the rear-end pivoted with just enough tension to allow the trigger group to cam into place, without removing any material around the trigger group, or anywhere else. I will let it sit in the sun this summer to let the combination "settle-in".
The kicker for this stock is the adjustable cheekpiece. It is fully adjustable for shooting the M14/M1A with or without a scope. (The Gen SA 4th-generation scope mount allows shooting with the iron sights without removing the mount.) The adjustable length-of-pull will be helpful in shooting the different positions.
After mounting an old 3.5-10 scope, I took it out and shot the combo yesterday. The stock felt great, after adjusting the cheekpiece for the scope's height; everything is solid! The rifle shoots close to 1 MoA groups at 100 yards off the bench. I am sure I can get tighter with newer/better ammo components, and tuned loads.

I splurged on a Nightforce NXS scope for my big game rifle, and knew that I needed the BEST PROTECTION for this investment whether the rifle and scope are in or outside the safe or hard case and during transport. This Scopecoat XP6 is the second, or third, that I have purchased from OP.
I really appreciate their customer service, quality, and prices on top notch gear.

This Latch allows release of the Charging Handle from either side or both. It provides improved access to the Handle where scopes extend to the back of the receiver.
The Charging Handle can be operated from the right-side on my NRA High Power Match Rifle. This is great when I am slung-in while in the sitting & prone positions.
The (-1) star is because of the "rough" finish, but really has no effect on fit form or function.
