Great adapter / unusable wrenches / prevents bipod damage to stock
I got four. Very easy installation except three out of four of the supplied wrenches were oversized. They just went in enough to tease you but would tear up if you tried to use any torque. Only one wrench fully inserted. However this apparently one of a kind product is too useful to pass up on account of this. The adapter itself is of good quality and workmanship. It fits a wide variety of fore ends. The rubber protector is extremely tough. Great solution
Perfect fit, very snug. Best option for single stud stocks where mounting a pic rail is needed. I put my atlas on and loaded the bipod. Rock solid.

Good product except...
The swivel stud on the adapter is loose and noisy. I have no need for it so it’s just annoying to me. I can see it as a bonus for someone looking to add a sling but not my intention for the particular firearm. Solid product. Easy install. Very adaptable for stocks.

Very easy to install and performs perfectly. I put one on my Ruger 10/22, with Hogue Overmolded stock, and it fit great! Bought one again and installed it on my Ruger Precision Rimfire. Another home run! I then bought one for my new Savage A17. Due to the stepped down design of the stock, the Savage swivel stud WILL NOT align with the Caldwell Pic Rail Adapter. I should have taken one off my existing firearms and tried it first. Just make sure the stock's underside is levcl. I'll probably get a Boyds stock down the road and will install it on that. I still highly recommend this device.

Nice strudy design
I needed this to mount a bipod on my .308 BAR. It fits tightly, and looks like part of the rifle from the factory. I only wish the logo wasnt on it, but its their brand lol. Easy to install, has the sling loop built on. Sturdy

Best on certain rifles
My Marlin 795 22 has inset sling swivels. To mount this on my rifle I had to fill the inset and put a flush mount sling swivel on stock. This mount will work well for rifles that already have a flush to the stock sling swivel mount.

Caldwell PAS Caldwell Pic Rail Adapter Plate Black 156716
The Caldwell PAS functions exactly as advertised and provides a solid PIC mount for a bipod. It is a simple device that was easy to install, and I am satisfied with the mount. The thickness does add some height over a PIC that is mounted directly to the stock, but the thickness of the mount is not a big issue when you consider that it is no more than 3/8" to 1/2" than a direct stock mount. Also, there is no need to drill a second hole in the stock with this mount.
