Cmmg 9mm dust cover kit
Purchased for a new AR-22 build. Fit and finish was great. Matched my standard AR15 upper. OP had it in stock. As always ordering/purchasing through optics planet was easy and optics planet's shipping was fast.

CMMG is a well respected company and usually their products are great. works well for 22 bolt conversion in standard ar upper
I like the kit a lot. It works well to cover up the hole in the rear of the ejection port when using a 22 bilt conversion kit.
However, i gave it 4 stars because the brass deflector part is plastic and the brass will eat away at it after tens of thousands of rounds.
My other gripe is that the plastic peice is a bit loose when it sits in place. I used liquid gasket and sealed it in place to fix the issue.
All in all. If you have an old upper that has a 22 bolt conversion dedicated to it. Then this makes the upper appear a lot nicer. That being said, i dont think it adds any practical or mechanical advantages, it just looks nicer.

Works well at deflecting gas
I installed this CMMG ejection port cover/gas deflector on a recent AR9 build and the gas deflection functionality works well since blowback 9mm is gassy. I had a bit of difficulty installing the rod as the gas detector sat too proud to allow for the rod to be inserted. So I had to file the deflector a bit, and after some trial and error, I was able to install it. It is nice and tight with no wobble. My AR-15 lower is Mil-Spec so others may not have the same issue.

9mm ejector cover kit
This port cover works flawlessly. Was a PITA to install but most covers are. And definitely helps with gas when shooting suppressed.

best dust cover fir 22lr
I’ve used these a couple of times and each time it goes together seamlessly. Wonderful idea and good functionality! I recommend this product.

Very Loose
Installed an an Aero M4E1 upper and the deflector rattles and is loose. There are also huge gaps for gas to pass through. I ended up removing it from the gun and going back to a standard dust cover. Very disappointed

Standard for PCC ejection port covers
It's simple, plain, and the design is elegant. Presuming you don't install the spring backwards, expect this setup to effectively deflect gas and brass from pistol caliber and rimfire AR builds. Finish is solid, and parts are of well tested design by a manufacturer known for their PCCs.

Actual product differs from image.
Building a new 9mm AR. Using mostly CMMG parts. Only a couple choices out there for the short ejection door kit. But please note that current gas deflectors no longer feature the truncated “cone” shape as shown in the image. They have changed the deflector to resemble a fixed position door with a protrusion molded in as a deflector. Personally, I like the looks of the old style better, not this should work just as well.

CMMG cover kit
Ordered two of these, the ones you receive are the Cmmg redesigned gas deflector not the one pictured. Also, neither of the two that I received had the spring included (as pictured). Packages were factory sealed, so if the springs missing were a mistake it is on Cmmg.

CMMG Ejection Port Kit
Well made, makes for a good looking add on for a 22LR conversion. If you don't have one of these on a 22LR conversion there is a large opening behind the bolt. You can always trust CMMG and Optics Planet.
