Most Helpful Positive Review Yup, Perfect
I purchased two of these and they were both perfect. It's a great upgrade over the basic milspec one that comes in the Geissele standard kit. It's a very simple part but the machining is way better and worth the upgrade. Plus always got to have the "G" on there!

Received the Gisessele Mag Catch today to discover that apparently, they think a mag catch should be mounted backwards on the bolt (G facing inward) and bent outward as a completed product. Simple, clean, nice.

I’m not sure what the other negative review is referencing, but I literally have 6 of these. I don’t want an Ambi catch and I don’t like the gimmicky look of other.

Every one I’ve received is as nice as what you’d expect from paying a premium price for the G$.

Machine work is much cleaner than mil-spec, but you’d have to have both in your hand to see. The color is darker/richer than a standard mil-spec.

Is it necessary? I doubt it. But here we all are on OP just enjoying our hobby anyway.

great addition to my Geissele lower

Thanks optics planet. Couldn’t find this in stock anywhere else. I needed this addition for my Geissele lower. I know it’s just a mag release but Geissele quality is always guaranteed. Plus the little G for my Geissele build.
