Most Helpful Positive Review Yup, Perfect
I purchased two of these and they were both perfect. It's a great upgrade over the basic milspec one that comes in the Geissele standard kit. It's a very simple part but the machining is way better and worth the upgrade. Plus always got to have the "G" on there!
Most Helpful Negative Review Do not know how to make a product
Received the Gisessele Mag Catch today to discover that apparently, they think a mag catch should be mounted backwards on the bolt (G facing inward) and bent outward as a completed product. Not worth wasting the time sending back, just don't buy from them. I guess we all have to deal with increasi...

Significant Finish Wear on Arrival

by MB, from UT, United States Written on August 15, 2026
Look, I try not to be picky about appearances, but this arrived looking significantly used. I bought this because I love their magazine release button so much. However, every single edge of this had chips of the finish missing, rendering it looking like it had been used for a few years. Honestly, I’d be okay with it if it weren’t $20+.
Pros:
  • Nice feel, the included spring appears to be good quality.
Cons:
  • Every single edge of the finish thing was chipped.

  • None

looks great!

by Marco Munoz, from NM, United States Written on March 28, 2026
Db-15 comes with cmmg hardware and this Geissele mag catch noticeably is smoother but the cmmg bolt catch might have been one turn too tight too. Either way I’m happy and have a spare for another build !

this product is garbage

by Brandon G, from FL, United States Written on February 25, 2026
I’d give a half a star if I could. The paint on this product is complete trash. Could’ve done it with a spray can. Left two emails to optic to get no response on this so leaving a review to save people time. Do not buy this unless you want a used looking piece. Bought cheaper ones that had better quality coating on it.
