Fits well and with right clothes definitely conceals well

I don’t know why Guard Dog can’t be bothered to publish the specs on their own product, but here are the measurements from the size medium vest I took a chance on:

Fit: I am 5’9, 180 lbs, 39” chest. Wear a size large shirt. Size medium carrier fits perfectly.

Pros: Great price, very comfortable.

Cons: Need a buddy to zip it up, otherwise it’s an awkward pull-over. Not actually “concealable”.

Bottom Line: I’m very happy with my purchase, this is a huge upgrade over my issued vest, for not a lot of money.

That said, I am a uniformed officer - so I don’t really care about concealment. I only care about value and comfort, I’m not actually trying to hide the fact that I have a vest on.

If you want a cheap comfortable vest for work, I recommend this. If you want to wear a vest without other people knowing, you might need to spend a little more money (consider the Premier Body Armor Everyday Armor Shirt).

This is an excellent quality vest and the price is unbeatable. Nice side zipper and is soft. NIJ certified works for me! Highly recommended.

I'm a deputy sheriff and have been wearing an outer carrier but by the end of the week I would be in so much pain from where I have shoulder problems that my weekends were ruined. This vest is so light and comfortable and doesn't put pressure on my shoulders. I'm a good sized guy, I'm 6ft,240 and the XL fits great. I can't zip it up but I can pull it over my head like a t-shirt.

This armor is very light, and comfortable to wear. It used to be $150 but inflation is a bisquit itch. Still worth the extra $40.

This armor is very light and comfortable. I completely forget I'm wearing it. Any outer layer like a puffy baggy pullover or sweatshirt will conceal this armor system completely. Easy 5 stars. Especially because the price was the best deal I could find on anything iiia

I’m not giving this thing 5 stars because I haven’t shot it, but it is less visible and easier to get in and out of than a competitor product that I paid 6x as much for.

Comfortable, great fit and coverage area. Easy on and off with the side zipper. Shirt material is lightweight and not bulky. Vest sits nicely between abdomen and top of the chest, while enough clearance below the chin and under arms.

I love the side zipper it makes taking the vest off much easier. The fit was perfect.
