Most Helpful Positive Review Hera cool forgrip!
I outfitted my Ar with the Hera forgrip and stock and it looks and feels nice. You can use this by itself or in combination with the stock depending on the look and feel you like. Its made from a strong plastic and is paintable. I like the grip position. A few things to keep in mind.... this needs a...

Most Helpful Negative Review Innovative design and looks unique. NO HARDWARE INCLUDED.
First off, as with every single part I have ever purchased from opticsplanet, I didnt receive any hardware. I had to go to the hardware store and match up the right diameter and length bolts and nuts which is an extra cost not expected (Not a big cost, but these are supposed to include hardware reg...

We all want a ps90 in our hearts

by Buddha, Verified Owner from PA, United States Written on December 7, 2025
Ok, it's a little longer than my pic rail but not so much that I cant use it. For reference its an x95 tavor 16.5" so it would probably fit a longer rail no problem. Its sturdy and scratches the itch for esthetics. I hate to mod it because it looks so nice and it will work fine regardless. Grip wise, you can hold it in several ways and although it might add aome bulk to the front end, it personally feels nice and stable.
Pros:
  • Looks awesome
Cons:
  • Measure your pic rail space first, its longer than it seems

Great grip

by Frank C, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on November 21, 2025
I love the look of this grip, and that it’s specifically designed to fit in front of the magazine well of an AR. There is one potential downside, with this installed you have to pop both takedown pins to access the bolt carrier, as it’s snug to the magwell so it can’t swing open with just the rear one open. I probably wouldn’t use it if I was still in the military, but it’s fine for range/ ranch use.
Pros:
  • Looks cool
  • comfortable grip
Cons:
  • Makes accessing the bolt carrier a little more of a task

Not as pictured

4 stars due to misleading pictures in ad. The QD hardware didn’t have the white letterings. It’s just plain dry/ashy black.

Parts Missing

by Quinn, Verified Owner from NE, United States Written on April 15, 2025
Well I like the foregrip, but it would be nice if I could properly mount it as it did not come with the mounting bolts or nuts either prepackaged or pre installed on the foregrip….
Pros:
  • Fits hand nicely
Cons:
  • No install parts
Would recommend: Yes

Great for Southpaws and Ambi Shooters

by That Guy, Verified Owner from NE, United States Written on March 21, 2025
As with all the other Hera Arms products I own, this fore grip is superior to the competition. Most bad reviews are by the brainwashed masses. (See Notes below) Glass reinforced polymer superior in strength and damage resistance unlike a certain other company that caters to the Tacticool Crowd... Solid construction. Fits like a glove. No more burns from extended shooting scenarios! While not for everyone, if other angled grips just don't feel right, you need a Hera CQR Gen 1. NOTE: is superior to the Gen 2. NOTE 2: I actually purchased one elsewhere and received a cheap Air Soft clone. While officially licensed is obviously inferior to the real thing.
Pros:
  • More durable and better fit than the competition
  • Best for Southpaws and True Ambidexterous shooters
Cons:
  • not for everyone
  • Not legal in a few States
Best Used for:
  • If you know, you know.

Hera fore grip

by Dmlspringer, Verified Owner from AL, United States Written on January 24, 2025
This may look odd, buy it really works well. I put mine on a ruger lc 10mm. And it really helped balance out the rifle. It's a quality made product.

PDW look and feel, quality construction, fit and finish.

by Matt W, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on October 31, 2024
I added this and the companion “thumb hole” stock to a .300 AAC that I put together six or seven years ago along with a Hera quad-rail. I like the look and feel. You can actually grip the fore-end in several different ways depending in how you position it. I moved it as close to the receiver as possible and it feels good. I can easily control the muzzle rising while shooting rapidly. I grip the most forward portion with the meat between my index finger and thumb in the “front hook” of the grip and wrap my thumb over the top of the rail. I like it, but it may not be for everyone.
