4 stars due to misleading pictures in ad. The QD hardware didn’t have the white letterings. It’s just plain dry/ashy black.

Well I like the foregrip, but it would be nice if I could properly mount it as it did not come with the mounting bolts or nuts either prepackaged or pre installed on the foregrip….

As with all the other Hera Arms products I own, this fore grip is superior to the competition. Most bad reviews are by the brainwashed masses. (See Notes below) Glass reinforced polymer superior in strength and damage resistance unlike a certain other company that caters to the Tacticool Crowd... Solid construction. Fits like a glove. No more burns from extended shooting scenarios! While not for everyone, if other angled grips just don't feel right, you need a Hera CQR Gen 1. NOTE: is superior to the Gen 2. NOTE 2: I actually purchased one elsewhere and received a cheap Air Soft clone. While officially licensed is obviously inferior to the real thing.
Pros:
- More durable and better fit than the competition
- Best for Southpaws and True Ambidexterous shooters
Cons:
- not for everyone
- Not legal in a few States

This may look odd, buy it really works well. I put mine on a ruger lc 10mm. And it really helped balance out the rifle. It's a quality made product.

The description should warn this will not fit every AR. There should be a list.

It's not very practical and a little bit expensive. But if you have in mind something futuristic on your next build, that is it. Definitely recommended.

I added this and the companion “thumb hole” stock to a .300 AAC that I put together six or seven years ago along with a Hera quad-rail. I like the look and feel. You can actually grip the fore-end in several different ways depending in how you position it. I moved it as close to the receiver as possible and it feels good. I can easily control the muzzle rising while shooting rapidly. I grip the most forward portion with the meat between my index finger and thumb in the “front hook” of the grip and wrap my thumb over the top of the rail. I like it, but it may not be for everyone.

This foregrip is very comfortable for me and has three ways to hold it. C clamp works if you have small hands. Other wise you can hold it like a normal vertical grip. The grip itself is large and takes up the entire bottom rail of a 7 inch handguard.
Cons:
- huge takes up entire bottom rail
- better for smaller hands
Best Used for:
- getting a certain futuristic look.

This is a nice foregrip and it mounts solidly to a picatinny rail. It's a little small for me to be able to get my thumb inside comfortably, though. I wouldn't even say I have particularly large hands, so be aware.
