My optic was garbage. Glue all around the lens preventing co-witness (supposed to be fixed in X2), 32 MOA circle had crooked crosshairs. Then usps couldn't deliver return because "no access to location", and then the packaged was lost. Wierd how they give you a return label and tell u if you want to...

Great Product (Holosun 509T)
Purchased for my Glock 45 and it has done a great job performing at the level I initially thought it would. Highly recommend.

Clear glass, bright clean reticle
I bought this to top off a Beretta 1301 and so far I have had no issues after about 300rds, it has held zero perfectly and haven't had any flickering with recoil. The solar failsafe was also a deciding factor for me in making this purchase over an Aimpoint, but so far I do not regret choosing Holosun at all.

Great Optic for Subcompact Pistol
I switched over from the 407k, very noticeable upgrade in sight picture. I like the ease of keeping the enclosed dot clean as well.

My first optic!
I decided to buy the Holosun HE509T because it seemed a good way to have an optic that I didn't have to continuously worry about the mechanics inside the framework. The enclosed system seemed a good idea. I do have it mounted and had no trouble finding the red dot when aiming my CZ. Haven't had a chance to actually shoot with it yet, but it should be very soon. I'm thinking I won't have any problems and the optic will work find.

Good sight
Not really a holo-sight enthusiast but this thing is really cool. Small, sturdy, and almost never needs the batteries changed thanks to the solar cell.

One of my many red dots
I have several holosun red dots for many years with no issues both on rifles and handguns. This is the first enclosed red dot I have on a pistol, which worked flawlessly first time out (as expected). I have other brands as well and with my corrected astigmatism I have found that holosun is clearer than the others.

Always Awesome
First of all, the products, the quality and the customer support of Optics Planet is superlative. The green dot 509t is great for my astigmatism. Total game changer. The rigidity and sturdiness of the 509t is obvious from the look and feel. Now, range time.

Enclosed emitter greatness.
Bought the FDE,version for a 19x, that was milled for a trijicon rmr, not the MOS, the included plate fit perfectly, however the shortest screws were still too long and required some modifications, the screws were easily sanded down using a work sharp knife sharpener which only took a few seconds to get them to the correct size, after which I applied fresh blue loctite and they are solid. The 509t still fits in a safariland holster without issues, and literally took 3 clicks down to be zeroed perfectly. So far after a range day of 550 rounds, there are no issues everything is working like it should, and I'm happy.
