Perfect for a long barrel 5.56 build
Works like a charm, part of a larger overall solution, but at the end of the day, my rifle has very little recoil and keeps my eye on target, as well as on subsequent rounds—very high quality.

Fits up great, springs and buffers run smoothly in it. If you like your threaded end to cover the buffer retainer plunger, it does hold it in place, yet if you have a sloppy fitting buffer retainer plunger, the plunger might ( might!) be able to work past this buffer tube end just saying.

These tubes work well enough.
I found these tubes to be 1/16" shorter than most. They actually work very well with the Magpul Moe Non-adjustable rifle stocks. I used one with one of them and the other with a A2 styke sock using a 1/16" thick washer up under the stock spacer. I glued the washer in because it's the only one that needs it. All in all, this was to stop the stock spacer from ratting inside the stock and keep everything tight. These tubes were inexpensiv yet heavy duty.

Good buffer tube
This buffer tube does everything you needed to. The fit and finish are good any it fits the a2 type stock perfect. This was used on a PRS chassis and performs perfectly with a magpul prs stock. You can pay twice as much for marginal improvements but you don’t have to with this.

rifle buffer tube
When I receive the rifle tube it had very nice threads on it. It easily bolted up to my my LR308 receiver and I put a bag pour about a rifle stock over it. It fit great and I am happy. I would definitely buy another.

As expected
Purchased a Magpul PRS stock for my HOWA .308 and needed to change out the buffer tube. This fit like a glove with the rifle and the stock. Great product and extremely easy to install. As always Opticsplanet had fast shipping and excellent customer care.
