This thing is Fantastic!
Don't know about all of you folks, but I seldom can get a conventional crush washer to line up the muzzle device without being looser than it should be, or twisting so hard I give the rifling another 3/4 twist rate. I have an assortment of washers and I would try out a few till I got one that was close, I even "custom fit" them some times. This washer takes care of all that. Period. It works. I have used the 1/2" and the 5/8" versions.
As others have said, this is an excellent muzzle device mounting solution
Considering a standard crush washer will run you $2 ea or more from OP, this is a great value. Not only does it look good, it's also quite concentric and provides a stronger mount than standard CW's. As others have suggested, these have enough room to be turned at least two full rotations, allowing them to be used twice. I HAVE in fact used the same one twice, after deciding I wanted a little more than a flash hider... it works!
It's a simple part that seems expensive for what it is, but is also one of those parts that, after having used the alternative enough times, I wouldn't bother with a regular crush washer again. Once you get your hands on one, you'll understand.
While I'm here, I'll give JP some more praise: try their $20 chrome silicon tuned and polished spring... also my new standard.
Happy building, ladies and gentleman.

Works Great
I have used these on several builds in the past and they work great. For myself, I prefer the double crush washer. I feel as though I get better torq and also offer a more steady, uniform threading. I will continue with these for sure for any future builds.

Best crush washer, well designed
This is a very well designed crush washer. Love how it maintains center and crushes in the middle as by design. I needed .75 rotation to time muzzle device, keeps consistent pressure thruout crush phase. I am positive you can can a bit more than 1 full turn to crush these.

Best Option For Muzzel Device Timing
First these are highly quality and well crafted crush washers for the AR15 platform to install muzzel devices easily and properly. Over the last few years I've had to install & Uninstaller about half a dozen breaks & comps and everytime I've used one of JPs double crush washers and MI Upper Receiver Rod to quickly & easily install these devices with perfect alignment & torque. These washers can be installed anyway there's no front or back and they also center themselves and can provide up to 1.5 rotations if needed. So no matter where your device ends up at the end of hand tightening there's always enough rotations left to get it correctly timed. I've never hand to do more then 1 full rotation and most times it was a 1/2 or 3/4 turn so it wasn't a struggle. IMO these are the best & easiest option available and I've probably bought 6 or 7 over the past few yra.
Pros:
- Price
- Quality steel
- JP Quality!
- easy to install
- Fast installation
- Bidirectional
- Auto centering
- 1.5 Rotations
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- ar15 platform

Double Crush Washer
Works as advertised. Easily crushes to accommodate plenty of adjustment for timing the muzzle device. Finish is a quality phosphate. Possibly the best crush washer on the market. Will be buying more.

Best Crush Washer
I've used many standard crush washers, but this JP Crush Washer is easily the best. Much easier to time a muzzle device because you can get a lot of rotation in before it gets really tight. This crush washer looks great. Locks muzzle devices in tight but still quite easy to remove the muzzle device if needed. Bought a few more just to have some extras.

The one to rule them all
Ok so you cant wear it. Maybe. But it basically lets you time your muzzle device in any situation since you can put just over a full turn on it. Of course near 360 degrees it gets pretty hard to torque but it will work. I suggest some painters tape or something on your muzzle device if you need to protect the finish.

Best crush washers
Tried these on the last two builds I did (.556 and 6.5). Easier to set the timing of the muzzle treatments. Also i don't have to worry about the direction of the washer when installing and they self center. Best crush washers I have found.
Pros:
- Ease of uses
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Any timed muzzle device
