This is an awesome kit for the money. Many options of weights to try with the tungsten, steal and aluminum weights. The only small issue I had was the pin was hard to insert in to keep the buffer weight cap on.

This is the only buffer I use for duty/battle rifle setups. It will allow you to fine tune your rifle for optimum function. Combined with an adjustable gas block, your weapon will work perfectly for as long as your bolt and barrel last.

Great buffer if you’re trying to tune your carbine or having ejection issues

So I'm one of those weirdos that got a ks47 from PSA and I've been tuning that bish since day one. I got this kit to tune the buffer and get it a little softer and more manageable. It's pretty ok for that - it works with a lot of trial and error. Because I'm tuning for 7.62x39 I ended up using a lot of weight but there's plenty of options to tune lighter weights/calibers. I found the kit to be very 'complete', and would recommend it for anybody trying to fine tune their AR or AR-style build. Decent piece of kit, and decently priced.

I was on the fence between an ST-T2 and an Odin works buffer when I stumbled upon this gem. It was a no-brainer for me and added it to my cart. I love the options I have with the 9 weights, the ability to play around with different configurations and tune to your needs. I’ve read some only use it as a tool to find the ideal weight then proceed to install a separate buffer designated to that rifle. My original buffer came in at 3oz, running on a 16” barrel mid-length gas system. Rifle didnt have a huge kick to it but you could still feel her kick. Loaded up the KAK with two (2) tungsten and one (1) steel (T-T-S) coming in at 4.8oz, JP enterprises spring and a Strike Ind. buffer tube. MAN! It made a huge difference in recoil management and cycling of rifle. Felt recoil went from a kick to a gentle push (if that makes sense). Its hard to describe the feeling. The change in felt recoil allows you to focus faster on target acquisition and overall have better situational awareness. You can setup your rifle however you want but the KAK kit is a must have and highly recommend it.

I love this product!! Its great being able to adjust your buffer quickly and easily when I'm out in the field or training. This product comes with everything you need to dial in your AR-15 rifle almost perfect. It is also quick and easy to use and change your buffer while in the field at the range or in your shop. Make a huge difference on my AR15 rifle!! Great product!!

A must have for anyone looking to tune thier sbr or pistol build, works flawlessly to tame the recoil impulse aswell as the function of the platform, I have and would recommend this to anyone who may have a "overgassed" or harsh recoiling platform.

For being able to build a custom buffer to help with cycling issues, this kit is my favorite. It came with enough parts to modify multiple buffers to dial in your rifle or carbine. I was able to get my pistol to cycle steel cased ammunition perfectly with this kit and still have parts left over! Perfect with the KAK brace kit!
