It works excellent
Installed it into my G19 in conjunction with the Radiant Afterburner using factory Winchester 115 fmj ammo. The dot barely moved and I can fire double taps and 15 rounds strings just like an IPSC Pro. I have a dozen or more of guide rod type recoil reducers for various guns but this is the only on...

KynSHOT PB6003 Hydrualic Guide Rod
I have a Glock 19 Gen 5 and I saw no improvement in recoil or how fast the slide resets, also my gun has never ever jammed until I put the KynSHOT PB6003 Hydrualic Guide Rod inside.
KynSHOT PB6003 Glock 19 Gen 1-3 Hydraulic Guide Rod
Noticeably reduces perceived felt recoil. Had a few failures to go into battery in a couple hundred rounds, but will continue testing it. Been a long time satisfied user of their RB5000 AR-15 hydraulic buffers, so was curious to try this out. Was pleasantly surprised. :-)
Pros:
- Noticeably reduces perceived felt recoil.
Cons:
- May cause failures to go into battery.
Best Used for:
- Casual and competition shooting
- Casual shooting at the range and competition shooting if you vet the reliability with your specific setup.

Great product
I’m in the process of purchasing one of these for each of my Glock-pattern pistols. The two KynSHOT hydraulic guide rods I currently own have performed exceptionally well, with well over 1,000 rounds combined and zero reliability issues. I’ve successfully used them with a Radian RamJet, a factory barrel, a Zev Hypercomp, and a TTI Ballerina.
The biggest difference is the change in recoil impulse. Rather than simply reducing felt recoil, it makes the recoil cycle much more consistent and predictable from start to finish. During rapid-fire drills, it is noticeably easier to keep the sights on target and make fast, accurate follow-up shots.
Pros:
* Makes recoil impulse extremely predictable, especially during rapid strings of fire.
* Noticeably improves sight tracking and control.
* Significantly lighter and less expensive than tungsten guide rod systems that aim to address similar recoil characteristics.
* Eliminates much of the trial-and-error involved in tuning recoil springs.
* Runs reliably across a wide range of ammunition, from lighter target loads (“Jello Shots”) to hotter defensive loads such as Underwood.
Cons:
* The recoil impulse and slide-racking feel are different from a standard recoil system. If you shoot or train frequently, expect a short adjustment period as you retrain your muscle memory.
Note: If you’re installing this on a Gen 4 or Gen 5 Glock, you’ll need an adapter plug. NDZ Performance offers these in several color options.

Effective recoil rod
I tested mine on a G45. The recoil feels different in a nicer way, like having a tiny compensator. The best way, I can decribe is it spreads the recoil impluse over longer time, thus making the gun feel less snappy. However, I noticed that racking the slide manually was less smooth. This is a excellent product.

The dot barely moved and I can fire double taps and 15 rounds strings just like an IPSC Pro. I have a dozen or more of guide rod type recoil reducers for various guns but this is the only one that actually worked. Looking forward to purchase one for my G29 10mm and my 1911s but unfortunately, they have not developed one yet. But if they do, I would be the first to get in line. Highly recommended.
Pros:
- easy installation

Works better than tungsten!
Ok I was skeptical at first but then the amount of pressure needed to push the plunger back is a good amount, it is definitely quality made and once I shot it there was a much noticeable difference, it’s less “snappy” on my gen3 g19, my wrist doesn’t lift up that much if that makes sense so I’m able to bring the gun down to the target quicker

debatable for the price
I will continue to shoot with this more but as of now I cannot tell the difference between this and the stock recoil spring.
There are two other brands that I won’t mention that I would definitely recommend over this for this price point and performance.
I may amend this review after further testing. But right now disappointing for the price.
