Jeepers...Leapers
With the bad reviews I've read from Amazon and just pure googling, I had second thoughts with purchasing the bipod. I was thoroughly surprised of the quality of this bipod. The bipod is pretty solid and stable. The 6-9" length was the perfect height for my bench rest or prone shooting. I've had no i...

Leapers Tactical & SWAT Combat Bipod Review
Easy to change height, some "swiveling" in unit after installed, when mounting to stud you may have to file down stud and/or stud-receiver on the bipod.
Pros: Solid legs & dual mounting
Cons: Some unexpected swiveling of unit
Nice Bipod
I bought this primarily for use on AR rifles. The quick detach mount makes it easy to switch from rifle to rifle. This is made very well and is very sturdy and the legs adjust quickly.

Solid and reliable
It's stiff, fitment is great, height is what I needed for my AK platform. No downsides from what I can see. It's study and has no slop or play. Not much else to say about this, really! Can't beat it for the price.

Decent for the $
Seems like it is very durable and will last. I am happy with it so far after a few hundred rounds through the gun it is on. Plan on purchasing again for my next build as i have not had any issues with it.
Pros:
- good price
Cons:
- None

UTG QD Bipod
I bought this because their S1 buttstock for the AR platform really impressed me. This a solid piece of hardware. It was nicely packaged and is not cheap steel. I mean this thing is beefy. It swivels and has a QD lever for pic rails. Adjusts for terrain and spring retracting legs. I decided to put it on my Creedmore bolt action. I had to back my sling stud 1/2 turn. It loads fine on a block and locks open for fast acquisition. (Don't stick your muzzle in the dirt!) I'm getting impressed with Leapers UTG line!
Pros:
- Loads well, adjustable, sturdy
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Shooting, carry folded
Would recommend: Yes

Great Purchase
Great product. High quality built. I purchased the item for my .338 Lapua Magnum long-range rifle. Still works properly and correctly after many shots. Also, there are other bi-pods from UTG leapers for the Lapua Magnum caliber.

UTG Tactical OP bipod
Basically bought this for a cheap upgrade for my Ruger American Rifle “Go Wild” in 6.5CM and I based my decision on a lot of great reviews. First of all I’ll say that the biPod mounts to the forward sling mount, and my adapter didn’t quite fit as it came in the box. The small pin that holds the entire setup in place using the forward sling mount didn’t line up right in order to thread the attachment ring on.
I’m assuming this is because the stock mold might have been thicker in this area. I removed a bit of the high spots on the stock but it still wouldn’t align right. My next solution was to file the top of the threaded mount (adapter) until the pin lined up correctly and it worked fine after I did this. We aren’t talking a huge amount but probably 1/64 to 1/32 at most. Anyway this isn’t a deal breaker for me since I’m comfortable with this type of fitment. I’m still giving this 5 stars because the quality of the bipod is real nice. It actually has more adjustment than advertised and everything seems to work as it should.

Do not use for composite or polymer stocks
Ripped my swivel stud out on the second flip. However the stud kits for $10 at Walmart come with two longer studs you can repair it with. I use gorilla glue as an adhesive or (locktite) if you will to permanently secure it in. This however is very well built. I don’t recommend for rifles built out of any other material other than wood or metal because it will rip the swivel stud out. I will put it on my AR and just use a resting bipod instead for my hunting rifle.
Pros:
- well built
- will work perfectly on picatinny rails
Cons:
- Rips swivel stud out
- kinda hard to pull back
- springs are to hard
Best Used for:
- tactical rifle
- mounting to picatinny rail
Would recommend: No
Telescope legs didn't retract after just one user
Seems that the internal springs that are supposed to aid in retracting the telescopic legs broke or came loose after firing 1/2 a magazine. The legs are fixed extended. Otherwise it was easy to install, held firm while firing.
