Great scope easy to use. Use it for target and hunting. Very clear scope. Leupold has a great warranty also. Super great light gathering scope. Love the matt finish on the scope. smooth zooming action and a bright, clear, crisp image at any and all power settings you can be sure you'll love the way you hunt when you have this great scope on your rifle

Awesome product at a great price! The CDS option is a must for long range shooters! The Leupold lifetime warranty is one of the best in the industry. Leupold's technical hotline was a great help as well as very friendly. I am a Leupold Optics fan and would recommend this product to any serious shooter.

Clarity is exceptional, as expected. Tracking is reliable. Should be the perfect match between weight and magnification for my purpose. It is difficult finding a quality scope that is also lightweight enough to carry all day. Leupold has always had the quality and options that I am looking for. I'm sure that I will be completely satisfied with this purchase. I would definitely recommend this scope, and Optics Planet.

When I opened the box housing my new VX-6 I found 2 areas of finish loss (aluminum showing) around the top turret, excess glue seeping out around the medallion and a large 'hair' that became viable by the reticle when the illumination was turned on. I not sure how this got out of the factory, but it did. Optics planet offered a return and exchange, but I chose to contact Leupold instead. It took several phone calls but I was finally connected to a manager there that made the situation right by me. They paid the shipping both ways and ended up exchanging it out for a brand *NEW* scope. Leupold stood by their product and that's why I'll keep using them. The new scope I received was clear, tracks well and was everything Leupold billed it to be. It was worth the money, even after the delay of the exchange...

This is an amazing Scope, with features found on only high end scopes. 6x zoom range, ultra clear glass, huge eye relief, plus lighted reticle. If this was a European brand it would be 4x the price! Great value, great optics, all with the famous Leupold guarantee!

Incredible scope. I haven't had a chance to take a long-range shots with my new scope yet but my friend has the same scope and he dropped an elk this year at 733 yards with one shot. I have used his gun and after seeing what the scope can do I had to purchase one for myself

I replaced my 8 year old VX-2 with the VX-6. The VX-2 now sits proudly on my Sig 516. I bought this high magnification scope to provide the ability to better evaluate bucks at distance; I live in a Missouri county that has a four point restriction. A friend of mine has the VX-3i with the same LR Varmint reticle and complained that it was difficult to see during low-light conditions. This scope has no such problem since it's illuminated with 10 settings. This makes laser bore sighting my A-Bolt 7mm Rem Magnum at 100 yards a breeze. I mounted the VX-6 with High 34mm Mark 4 Rings and a Warne 20 MOA picatinny rail. I haven't had time to shoot the "box" yet but hope to soon. There is a nice youtube video where a couple of guys shoot the box with the VX-6 3-18 model with outstanding results.

The scope has a nice easily turned magnification dial that adjusts much easier than my older and stiffer VX-2. The parallax dial on the left side is easily accessible and adjusted. I removed the rubber eye ring and mounted the screw-in Leupold flip up scope covers that fit OK but the main focus adjustment has no ring lock as on my VX-2. No big deal here but use care when screwing in eye equipment such as the covers or rubber ring. The turrets simply pull out to reset to zero; be careful or too much pressure will pull the turret dial all the way off. You must this do anyway if you install a new CDS turret.

Finish is beautiful. Adjustments are a little tight but will not move. Adjustments are spot on when returned to previous setting. Illuminated retical has enough adjustment to be used in any light level. The 34mm main body is still a little limited on ring options but there are still sub 100$ options on this site.

great scope great long range magnification with a nice usable low rang of 4x this scope is crystal clear looks great on my rifle with the 3 inch sunshade.. I use this for hunting and bench rest shooting hard to be a leupold
