Most Helpful Positive Review 6.5 Grendel success
I bought this for my 6.5 grendel. Prior to installing this, it wouldn't eject a shell casing. Stove pipes 100% of the time. Installed this and the stove pipe issue stopped immediately, but it wasn't loading round. Gave it two + rotations and viola perfect 3:00 to 4:00 ejections and loads round ever...

Most Helpful Negative Review Screwy AGB
As far as fit and finish it's fine. It has + and - indication symbols engraved around the gas adjustment set screw. My disappointment has to do with the location of the locking set screw (the 4-40 set screw that applies tension on the gas adjustment screw). It's on the shoulder side, not the muzzle...

Horrible alignment

by Murph, from OR, United States Written on June 22, 2026
I tried everything trying to set a roll pin into this piece of garbage. Pin would pass through the first hole and the gas tube. However, it would always become misaligned and would not pass through the final hole. After several attempts, several more pins, some drilling, some boring, and cleaning, I finally came to the conclusion that it wasn't machined accurately enough. This became evident when I just went and got a different gas block and the pin seated on the first attempt. Will not be buying this any further.

Had no effect on pressure

by MAP, Verified Owner from CO, United States Written on June 17, 2026
Replaced my standard gas block with this adjustable one to tone down the gas pressure on a slightly over gassed AR15. It seemed to make absolutely no difference regardless of how the screw was adjusted. Started with the screw as far into the block as it would go with the expectation of short stroking. This was not the case though, it seemed no different than my standard gas block. Backed the screw out all the way, no change. Tried every increment in between and still no change. My hunch is that the adjustment screw cannot actually go far enough in to block gas flow, but who knows. Unable to return since I have already installed it. Very disappointing.

not what is pictured

by Jaison, Verified Owner from WI, United States Written on March 18, 2026
I liked that the add showed the +- on the side and seemed pretty regular otherwise. However it came in without any +- on the side. Instead the set screw is on the side, with adjusting from the front. Also the thickness of it as the side ramps from outside the barrel to outside the gas tube is a straight, flat surface in the photo where mine is curved in between the two. Think like hips on person I suppose. It all seems fine so far, just not what I was ordering. Hopefully it’s the same quality or better and not something cheaper in the same packaging. Bag was sealed, all hardware was there and number GB-750-A printed on the bag.

Missing parts

by Jim, Verified Owner from MO, United States Written on November 26, 2025
Just like the other review says, it comes in a clear sealed plastic bag. Locking set screw was not in there. The only reason this didn't get less stars is the price. What did I expect for sub $30. Could have been worse apparently, if you consider the other reviews. Proceed with caution, even a slightly tight budget doesn't like having to buy twice or find parts that weren't shipped.
Pros:
  • cost
Cons:
  • Missing part

Missing parts

by D, Verified Owner from NV, United States Written on October 7, 2025
Both gas blocks came sealed in manufactures see through plastic bag. The roll pin and gas adjustment screws are missing. Since the bag is still sealed with no holes that means the manufacture didn’t put them in the bag.
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • missing parts and pieces

Set screw holes not centered

by Jayson Wagner, Verified Owner from NH, United States Written on June 20, 2025
The set screw holes are not centered and not even. One is right up to the edge of the flat area on the bottom and the other is partially off the edge. Holes are not even round. One set screws would start and the other wouldn't at all. I didn't open it for a couple months after I got it and I was past the window to return it. I reached out to Luth-AR multiple times. Sent them pictures and they wouldn't do anything. They told me to return it. I wouldn't trust anything from this company.

Ok budget has block

by Shoe, Verified Owner from CO, United States Written on April 11, 2024
The adjustment is on the side which will prob be blocked by the hand guard like on mine. So adjusting on the range is limited. Doesn’t come with hex to make adjustments

Adjustment threads not tapped deep enough

by bill, Verified Owner from AZ, United States Written on March 28, 2024
Good piece if you are a machinist, need to remove 1/4" of the threads on screw end, just to reach the port. Or a bottom tap with small shank would work. Size(3/4") is good so should fit the barrel.
Pros:
  • Cheap
Cons:
  • Needs work

seems good for the price

by Joseph Tourtillott, Verified Owner from MI, United States Written on January 18, 2024
Can’t beat the price. Haven’t used it yet but it seems better than the kaw valley one I just returned and it’s $10 cheaper.
