ar15 precision rifle build
I've used this magpul prs for my 500+ yard ar15 precision rifle build. this one is probably the most comfortable adjustable rifle buttstock out there. installation requires either a1 or a2 buffer system. very easy to install and adjust to your needs. priced high but very high quality product!!!
Great stock
I put this stock on my ruger precision rifle and it was well worth it. Easy too adjust, comfortable, and solid with no play. It's a great upgrade for more presice shooting. It's a bit on the heavy side but I use it from a bench or laying prone.

Magpul PRS for Ruger Precision
Excellent candidate for the new Ruger Precision rifle. The Gen 3 was out of stock so I opted for another Gen 2. If you decide on Gen 2 be sure to order an A2 rifle buffer tube. Simple straight forward install. Consider the Magpul QD sling footman loop as well. I took one off my Ruger modular stock and simply modified the Magpul; very nice fit too.

Get the gen3 version with the adjustable buttplate.
I purchased this buttstock because I already some of these on my rifles but I ended up spending another $100 for an adjustable buttplate. The gen3 version has this included so get the new version. The new version is also compatible with AR-10 and the AR-15 tubes which this older version is only for the AR-15 tubes.

Well made, easy to install & does what it's supposed to do well!
Mounted this on my early 90's BushMaster HBAR with a carry handle mounted scope, which required the cheek riser for rock-steady, comfortable sighting. Well made, easy to install & does what it's supposed to do well!

Magpul PRS.....AWESOME!
Just ordered and installed the PRS on a Ruger Precision Rifle (RPR)......I can say this butt stock is SOLID and well made. It is a must have replacement for the Ruger's factory stock. Far better feel and adjustability over the OEM. Quality is second to none! If you are installing this on a RPR, you will also need to order an AR-15 "rifle-length" buffer tube to replace the carbine-length buffer tube tha comes with the RPR.

When you have great product and great process, backed by awesome customer service, you get Optics Planet. I know this sounds like a commercial, but we already know you can't build your long range AR without a Magpul PRS, so this is about how I received my stock at almost $100 less than the competition, and in 2 days.

Ruger Precision Rifle
I bought this to replace the factory stock on my Ruger Precision Rifle. I had read many reports that folks liked it, so I decided to give it a try. I am very GLAD I MADE THE SWITCH, AS IT JUST FEELS BETTER THAN THE FACTORY STOCK! It only took about 15 minutes to make the switch. Just make sure you buy a FULL length buffer tube as the stock tube is too short.

Great Stock for Precision Rifle
Great stock for precision AR15. Extremely easy to install and really like the adjustable butt pad. It is a little on the heavy side but works perfect with a bipod and monopod set-up. If you are rifle is set up for precision shooting then this is the stock you want. Only reason that did not give it 5 stars was that I think it is slightly overpriced.

Best all-around AR stock
After looking at several options for an AR-15 build for a client wanting DMR/SPR rifle I found this to be the best choice.
Fully adjustable without the need for tools and reasonably light and really solid. You will need to make sure you have an A2 rifle length buffer tube; one point I'd like to see included to enhance the value considering the cost of a tube is minimal. The PRS is an attractive stock as nice benefit as well.
