Great Stock
I am very pleased with the stock. The build quality is amazing with little to no movement when locked in position. Be aware that this stock is heavy! I knew it was based on other reviews and that was fine with me as using it with a 20" inch build that will be on a bipod most of the time going for di...

go with a rifle stock.
this thing is nice. but it is heavy as heck and the storage is tiny. the magpul rifle stock is way better and way lighter and has tons more storage and is like 65 bucks.if you absolutey have to have adjust-ability and don't mind a brick on the back of your gun. get it for baller status.
Fantastic stock for a 3-position rifle
Setup an AR-22 for shooting CMP Rimfire Sporter matches Tactical Class. This stock is as everyone says, the bees knees, for AR based match rifles for this or Service Rifle Competitions.
Pros:
- Rock solid in any position
Cons:
- none other than price but worth it !!!
Best Used for:
- Match rifles.

this stock is G2G
Installed on a POF 308 Renegade. UBR ODG is an exact match w/ the gun’s factory ODG color. I love that it’s lighter & cheaper than the original, huge plus. Super easy to install, & even paired it w/ law tactical folder for storage, transport & extra length of pull. I didn’t have to modify the stock or folder. No issue w/ OP, solid timeframe on getting it out & to my door. Zero complaints on the product or OP.

UBR stock gen1 and gen 2
I first put a gen 1 UBR on a DDM4v5 for n 2015 I think it was. Great stock . It balances your gun out great. This time I put a UBR gen 2 on a custom built Ballistic Advantage 10.3 inch 300 blk. What an awesome gun!! The gen 2 is a little lighter than the gen 1 but it works great! I run a captured recoil spring for easy tuning and the stock works great at balancing the rifle out with a silencer attached on the front!! No spring noise from the buffer tube!!!! Love it great product tough as nails!!
Pros:
- Adds a little weight to the rear
Cons:
- Adds weight
Best Used for:
- Fast moving run and gun shooting style not shooting off a bench

Excellent overall, literally not as heavy as people imagine, a couple tweaks I'd make in gen 3 for 5
Overall, for my needs on my general purpose AR, this is an excellent stock.
First, the weight: It's NOT heavy. People IMAGINE it is when they read it weighs 24 oz while not taking into account that this weight includes the receiver extension, and then compare it directly to a B5 Bravo or Sopmod, without considering the buffer tube. It's not more than 4 oz heavier than an A2 stock and rifle length extension, or the Magpul rifle stock and extension, if you consider the buffer tube/receiver extension being built in to the UBRg2. It's not significantly heavier overall than a SOPMOD stock on an A5 extension. If you compare weight honestly to other complete systems and not just the UBR system next to a bare stock, you'll find a difference of mere ounces. In the world of barrel-heavy AR carbines, a few ounces in the trunk only helps the weapon. It's the hidden reason why so many prefer fixed stocks in the first place, and that's that they're solid and they feel more balanced on the weapon.
Solid and balanced, with adjustability, that's what the UBR gen 2 brings to the table. I run mine behind a medium contour barrel and one of the lightest handguards on the market, and my gun balances perfectly on the center of the magwell, where I like it. It's over 9 lbs fully loaded, but it doesn't feel it at all. All the weight is at the back between my arms, right in the cradle. With my hybrid comp doing it's job, and my recoil system tuned, an exaggerated/extended C-Clamp grip isn't required...

The UBR is great
I really like the Magpul UBR stocks, I have several now. Can install on either AR15 or AR10 variants. Comes with all the tooling and spacers needed for installation. Feels solid, more ridged than the standard AR stocks. Has a pocket for storage of small spare parts, easily change to left or right ooening, or remove it altogether. Can add a thicker shoulder pad for the bigger calibers. This is probably not the last one I purchase.

Magpul UBR Gen2
Great product. Noticeably lighter than its predecessor. Locks up with zero play.

Works on POF Revolution Piston Rifle
Bought this for my POF Revolution chambered in .308. It installed perfectly, despite the fact that this rifle comes with a proprietary buffer tube. Apparently the internal length of the stock buffer tube and the Magpul UBR buffer tube are both 7.75", so I suspect it will cycle flawlessly, although I haven't fired it with the UBR installed just yet...

For my high power AR, this stock is perfect. The adjustability and quality is as expected from a great company like magpul.
