The Predator Tactics Deadeye Rifle Tripod is sturdy. It is my go to tripod. I also love the way I can swap out mounting heads depending on what type of hunting I am doing.
I did have a problem with the legs not wanting to lock as solid after a couple of years, but I sent it back to Predator Tactics and they rebuilt all of the legs on the tripod - no charge. That is what I call a warranty and customer service.
Pros:
- Sturdy
- Customer service
- flexible mounting options
- warantee
- factory support

This is the second tripod I've purchased but I have used a slew of others in my line of work. I'd honestly put this one on par with Really Right Stuffs tripods. Locks up great, lightweight, and large range of adjustability. Bought it expecting it to be pretty basic given the price but It's far superior to my BOG death grip tripod. Highly recommend.
Pros:
- Price
- Adjustability
- feature rich
- leight-weight
- Lock up is solid

This is a must have for thermal coyote hunting. Work smooth and quiet very sready and strong. I will buy again for my other coyote gun.
The ball head allows free motion or can adjust for just a little tension or lock solid and will hold rifle steady.

I have been ordering from Optics Planet for years. Prices are always great, items are received quickly, and orders are accurate. I took the DeadEye out a few days after I received it. The tripod worked well, and the locking system makes scanning with a rifle very easy. Tripod is easy to use and adjust, but it came out of the box with a bent adjustment screw. I'm hoping this is just a fluke for quality control. I will be reaching out to Optics Planet for a replacement screw, and based on past experience I'm sure they will take care of it.
Pros:
- Lightweight
- easy to use and set up
Cons:
- Durability may be lacking

Very sturdy. Love the pointed tips at legs for soft terrain and sand. The adaptor is a little futsy especially if you are hunting in the pitch dark need to use a light to get it to “click in” just right before tightening. That said, once in it’s a solid construct. The tripod is moderately heavy if you have to trek a long ways by foot.
Cons:
- A little heavy, adaptor not super fast

I have used my Dead-eye tripod system for two weeks now and it has produced several harvests for me already. A steady aim is necessary to be consistent in harvesting game and this product does this job well.

I have no shake or motion on this tripod when shooting my gun feels safe on it when having a 14 pound gun! very easy to use not cheaply made at all! i like the leg locks over the twist locks by far! i can pretty much be at any shooting height and have no problem doing a comforable shot!
