First off idk why this guy is saying the roll pin doesnt fit the hole thats pre drilled in the gas block …. Smh . Ummmmm yes it does the roll pin is suppose to be a TIGHT FIT otherwise it defeats the purpose ….. i bought 2 springs and installed it with the gas block for a more secure lock up . Not t...

it's just okay
For a $200 gas block the fit and finish isn't there for me. Functions as well as a $60 adjustable gas block. I found it more gimmick than an actual upgrade for a weapon you'd trust your life to. The "piston" that was installed at the factory froze up after the first day of real use. I had it on a su...

Very good quality. Works great with suppressor. Install was a little bit of a pain due to the handguard
Would recommend: Yes
Excellent gas block
Very easy to precisely and easily set to the correct gassing when changing to with or without a suppressor, or any other reason like a dirty gun or different ammo.
Pros:
- Ease of use
- Less recoil
- Less gas in the face
- precise gassing
- less fouling
- No harder to install than any other gas block
Cons:
- Expensive
- must order a straight gas tube (sold seperately)
Best Used for:
- guns that are sometimes used with suppressors
Would recommend: Yes
Best gas block. No carbon locking, no long hex wrenches.
To my knowledge, this is the only adjustable gas block design on the market that doesn’t require frequent cleaning to avoid carbon locking.
From a performance standpoint, the main con is a little added weight, but it’s barely noticeable.
Before you install this gas block, make sure to remove any burrs or sharp edges inside the gas port hole, since these can shave off slivers of the copper jacket which can get stuck in the pin.

Likely the best adjustable gas block on the market
The fit and finish of the gas block is exceptional. As others have said, you will need to buy their straight gas tube to make this work. I ordered the 4.8 inch model as I am using a 12.6" hand guard. There is a sizing tool that's fairly accurate on the manufacturer's website. I won't get into the adjustments, but the item comes with two plungers, a standard one and a more restrictive one. If you buy the gas tube, you will have two assembly roll pins. There are two methods to affix the block to your barrel. One method is a pin which will require modification to the barrel and the other is two set screws. With a 12.6" hand guard, the control knob sticks out roughly two inches. The only thing I would change from an engineering standpoint is a more positive clicking detent. You can buy an assortment of control knobs from their website for about $80-90 apiece. I believe Opticsplanet carries them too.
Pros:
- Adjustability
- aesthetic and Function
- tuning for many ammunition types
Cons:
- price
Best Used for:
- Suppressors
- Multiple ammunition types

best adjustable gas block on the market hands down
This is the best adjustable gas block on the market hands down . The fact you dont have to ever worry about carbon buildup , dont need any tools to adjust , and the fact it runs on a straight gas tube versus those wonky bent gas tubes makes it that much better . Im running 2 springs on mine just for a peace of mind and this thing clicks over very smooth , definitely worth the money
Pros:
- toolless adjustment
Cons:
- None
Would recommend: Yes
Super slick
Construction is solid. They sent two gas rods to set up the gas volume. It was a welcome surprise. Definitely use Riflespeed's website to make sure you get the right setup.
Pros:
- Adjustability
- Solid customer support
- Perfectly machined
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Any gun
