I addd this to my winchester 30-30. the narror butblaqt on the weapon made it unconfortable to fire. This pad absorbs a great deal of felt recoil. It did not come with mounting screws but I was able to use the ones that were holding on the origional buttplate. look nice after meing mounted. Has to drill new piilit holes for mounting.
Pros:
- made shooting confortable
Cons:
- A little pricy (but worth it)
Best Used for:
- Recoil and muzzle rise mitigation

Great recoil pad. Put this on a stoger coach gun. It's not a perfect fit but it's better than the thin plastic piece come stock.

When installed you have unstained stock wood showing completely around the limbsaver pad. The pad is undersized. I didn’t expect such a poor fit from limbsaver.

Looks like a nice product but the model 700 ADL doesn’t work on the older wood stock ADL that I own.

This was my second LimbSaver AirTech Precision-fit Recoil Pad. My first was for a Tikka 3x in .308 Winchester caliber. Unfortunately this did not fit my Ruger 77 Compact Hawkeye. It should fit a regular Ruger 77 with a wooden stock, but it was too large for the Ruger 77 Compact Hawkeye. As for the fit on my Tikka, - perfect, and function was much better than the stock Tikka Recoil Pad. It did not change LOP on the Tikka.

This does not even come close to fitting a Marlin 336. It clearly states on package it fits although the screws are way off and it doesn't cover the entire stock. Even if you drilled new holes, it wouldn't fit correctly. Don't waste your money, just take it to have one fitted.

Installation of this soft recoil pad was as easy installing any other butt pad or plate on a Browning A-bolt: just two #2 Phillips screws through the holes in the back. It was hard to remove the old pad, but that's the nature of Browning Epoxying them on. I actually ended up removing the rubber with a box cutter, and leaving the plate. If I hadn't actually always wanted a slightly longer length of pull, I would have had to remove the old pad. I may end up doing some custom epoxy work to seal the new butt plate on.
I haven't used this particular pad yet, but based on my other Limbsaver products, this will be a great improvement over the original, firm, rubber butt pads.
Pros:
- Comfortable
- Reduces recoil
- simple install
Best Used for:
- REDUCING RECOIL
- impressing people who work for Limbsaver

I was disappointed with the limb saver shoulder pad as it was to be sized for a standard Remington 700 BDL gun stock however the overall shape of the pad just will not fit the stock either with wise or height wise. I've used a lame saver on a couple other stocks and never had this problem. Sometimes you win sometimes you lose.
Pros:
- None
- None - it is not usable

This thing is cush. I picked this up for my .300 win mag to help soften it up a touch. I was happily surprised. This , coupled with the muzzle break, made it so my .300 win mag feels the same to shoot as my .308 win. My shoulder loves me for it.
