Fantastic Barrel
These are my go to barrels on all of my builds. They are great quality, priced well, and very accurate barrels. The only barrel I would recommend over these would be there CHF line. You can’t go wrong with Spikes.
Spike’s Tactical 16-inch LE M4 Barrel
Accurate and affordable barrel with no feed issues and will shoot consistently round after round. Also this barrel is heavy enough to be consistent but not too heavy to be carried in the field all day. Choose this Barrel and rest assured that you have a solid barrel that you can count on.

Best Barrel/ Best Price
If you build, you know it's hard to find quality for a good price (and something you'd stake your reputation on). This is my go to for all 16" builds. I have never had issues with head-spacing (Using Cryptic, Toolcraft and Spikes bolts). M4 design/ shape helps line up the gas block, making it easier. Feed ramps have all been good- no buffing or polishing needed. The chrome lining has not seemed to impact accuracy, as have some other barrels. Get it, you won't be disappointed.

Awesome Barrel
I use these barrels in most of my builds as they are extremely accurate, well made, have great fitment, and are chrome lined. You cannot go wrong with these barrel and the only other barrels I would suggest would be the Spikes CHF or the DD.

Spikes Tactical SB51605-M4 thumbs up
Not all my barrels are chrome lined, but when they are Spikes makes a good option without being too pricey. “get some” before they’re gone. Unfortunately I dropped this one during a build while boating. Optics Planet inventory and order fulfillment always good.

Spikes Tactical 16in M4 LE- 5.56 Barrel Extension
Great barrel, I love that it is High Pressure tested and Magnetic Particle inspected. Most companies do not have the level of quality control spikes tactical does. I would highly recommend this barrel to anyone wanting to build an AR chambered in 5.56.
