This is one of the best light/laser combos on the market. It can be mounted on any type of rail system and works great on either a rifle or pistol. For tactical situations, this is a must have tool.

This item was defective when removed from box. Part of the battery contact was not attached to the back plate. It appeared that it had come unglued. I attempted to contact customer service for hours with negative results. This was a high level weapon light/laser Tlr2 hg.

Received Used Factor Demo Streamlight TLR-2 advertised in fair condition. Product does not function. The Paddle Switch refuses to toggle and consequently, the product does not function. Buyer beware. General expectation for buying products on this website is that, at the very least, they function. I will be reaching out for Customer Support and am willing to update this review based on experience.

So far I like the light. However I have a 1st gen trl-2g with the laser located inside the led lens. No fault of optics planet at all but I wish stream light would have left the laser inside the flashlight housing for wider range of zero. Otherwise it’s a stream light weapon light. I’ve carried these for nearly 20 years on duty and don’t have any complaints.

I bought this as a "bump in the night" Laser/Light it is obviously VERY bad. The strobe will, at minimum, give you a headache. The laser is bright and holds Zero VERY well

TLR-2 HL G has amazing brightness and you can see the laser very well. Own several for pistols and SBR's.
Pros:
- Performance and reliability
Cons:
- Price, and size is a little bulky.

I received this as a Birthday gift, March 2024. I struggled a bit mounting it. Really not a struggle as much as a confusion with the parts supplied to mount it. It came pre-installed with the piece for a Glock. My pistol has a Picatinny mount. I removed the Glock and installed the Picatinny part. It didn't work. Grove was too small. I dry fit tried the Glock piece for a try and it fit. Removed the called for piece and installed the Glock part back into the position and secured it. Tried on pistol mount and seemed good so l secured it completely. As for the light/laser functions, I'm very impressed. Stood on front porch in the evening and tried functions. We've about 100yds to treeline on our acreage. I could see all the way with lighting. The green laser is also impressive. I recommend this for anyone interested in adding a light or laser/light combo. Family said they paid $332 with tax. Good pricing compared to a Surefire. Value and quality appears. Time will tell how it holds up on my 10mm.

This is an awesome light laser combo. The green laser is easy to spot in daylight. The size of this light is perfect as I’m running on an AR . It doesn’t take up too much real estate on an SBR. The light is plenty bright as well.

Excellent solution,

I installed one of these on a Mossberg 590 A1 and another on an Sig P220 Scorpion Elite. Neither firearm was built to accommodate optics. This unit provides 1000 lumens of light as well as a green laser sighting system. It represents an excellent solution for what I wanted on these firearms.
Cons:
- May add a remote touch switch for the shotgun
Best Used for:
- Read the instructions. The laser is most accurate at one particular distance so choose distance based upon expected use.

Not the smallest, but built rock solid. Takes a common battery and a 1000 Lumens of light is nice to have.
Pros:
- common battery
- Green laser easier to see than red.
- Bright light good quality built
Best Used for:
- illuminating threats
- Home defense
- illuminating zombies
