Great Magazine Extension
Best looking magazine extension for tht Smith and Wesson and it works flawlessly. I have it installed on the stock 7 round, which is now a 9 round. 9th round goes in fine, those who are having a hard time check that the bottom of the spring has fully dropped and seated into the bottom of the extensi...

Interesting design, poor fit.
I purchased two with the intent of converting 2-8 round magazines to 10 round. Neither of the two I purchased worked for that intended purpose. If you use the plastic spacer that comes standard with 8 round mags with the EMP it won't seat, if you leave it off there is a gap. I was able to use one ...

EMP for Smith and Wesson M&P Shield
Work great with a Smith & Wesson 7 round clip. I would not use it with a magazine thats bigger. But for the 7rd clip its freaking awesome. Adds extra grip to your M&P 9mm Shield. The molding on this extension matches the Shield perfectly. If I didn't know better I'd say it was made by Smith & Wesson.
Pros:
- Work great with 7rd magazine
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Adds extra grip to M&P Shield
Would recommend: Yes
It works. Comparable to ProMag Smith & Wesson Shield 9mm 10 Round Pistol Magazine
It works. Requires a fair amount of sanding for it to fit properly.

S@W M&P Shield 9mm Strike EMP
Product arrived on time and works great. It fits perfectly in my gun, have shot 250 rounds and no problems. A little tight to get 10 rounds in the magazine, but after 100 rounds seems to be getting easier. Order another one, should be great to have extra.

Looks good, feels good
This was rather easy to install. I didn't use the little polished steel piece that they included, and it wasn't really necessary either. The piece actually just covers dust. You're going to have to reinstall the original mag sleeve anyways, so the sleeve already covers the dust/dirt. After everything's done, this mag extension looks good on the gun, almost like the original mag itself, and increases grip length too.
Pros:
- grip length
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Range use
Would recommend: Yes

M&P Shield +2
Wow I'm amazed on how well this looks and feels. This is a very nice made product. In my opinion this is one of the best looking +2 for the shield. I installed it on my 7 round mag. Fits perfect and flush. You need the space adapter for the 8 round to make it 10.
Pros:
- Look the Best on all +2 extensions
Cons:
- If installed on 8rnd mag need extesion
Best Used for:
- +2 extension Mag
Would recommend: Yes
Mag extension
Works well with M&P Shield v 1 7 round magazine to add 2 rounds. Fit flush
Would recommend: Yes
Very good for shield
This was an easy installation and everything you need is included. Solid and comfortable. The only thing I do not like is the slight gap that there is no way around. Still worth buying
Pros:
- Comfortable
Cons:
- Small gap
Would recommend: Yes
Great way to increase capacity
Used for 8rnd mags so I could use my shield for shooting events that need at least 2 10 rnd mags., higher round count extra mags if needed or for the range. I prefer the 7 rnd with a pinky extension for carry.
Worked great with no problems with 50 plus rounds from each mag and had no problems with there being a large gap from not using the factory gap extension since I have not modified those to fit yet.
Would be great is you do not want 2 more rounds for a 9mm 7 rnd mag and do not want to pay at least $40 bucks for a 8 rnd mag.
The only problem I had with installing the EMP was the base plate getting stuck at an odd angle. Just need a small screw driver or pen to push into place if this happens.
Some people mention tight fitment with the 8 rnd mags. If the EMP is used on an 8 rnd mag you will have to remove material (about .040") from the factory spacer to fit over the back plate that is added with the EMP.
From the strike industries website.
NOTE: Made for 7 round 9mm magazines and 6 round .40 cal magazines. The EMP+2 WILL work on the larger capacity factory magazines but with a noticeable gap between the EMP and pistol grip. The factory spacer will not fit flush with the EMP without slight modification.
