Amazing Construction, Perfect Execution couldn't be better
I've come to expect high quality items from Surefire and this is no exception. I had a hard time making the decision to go with this model over the UE07 basic switch tail cap for my Surefire M300 Mini Scout. There is a considerable price difference but it's well worth it for the extra features. I thought there might be an issue with the button being too small or positioned incorrectly but Surefire thought of that. Surefire scout light switch DS00
Surefire switch DS00 is a must if you running a laser and light combo. Helps with the constant on option. Works great and I’ve never had a problem with one. Optics Planet always has the gear in stock and at a good price.

Tactical equipment for outdoor activities
This switch came just as described. Its quality is very good. Price point was very reasonable compared to other dealers. Packaging was okay. Just wish it came in a box instead of a plastic bag. Shipping was very fast. I would purchase another one if needed.

I like how this tailcap has a plug and button. Its nice to have a back up in case the pressure pad stops working. Definitely worth the upgrade.

Best option for a work rifle. A tape switch is going to fail. Eventually. Have a fall back plan cause you will need it.

Bought Used. Huge Mistake
Optics Planet had a USED model of the SF tailcap/light switch for about forty dollars off the regular price. I thought that it would be functional but maybe marked up. Nope. It looked fine but tape switch jack was clearly damaged and didn’t work. I tried it on 4 different scout lights and with 3 SF cables and 1 unity cable. None of them worked with it. When I contacted OP about it they said ‘used, not returnable’. Now I have an over priced piece of junk. I have no idea what the previous owner did to damage it but I’m shocked that it looks perfect but doesn’t work. Very disappointed in OP for selling a product that wasn’t tested or they knowingly sold a non-working part. DO NOT BUY USED! That said, I already own 2 of these tail caps and they have been great. Having the redundancy of a pad and a physical button is the only way to go, in my opinion. Plus that redundancy allows for it be moved and used on firearms without moving your cable system

Tail cap for surefire
This tail cap is a must for the surefire duel fuel. I was actually surprised that the plug is solid. It actually takes muscle to unplug it.
