Most Helpful Positive Review Great on my Precision Rifle
I actually purchased this from dvor.com, but since its part of optics planet I thought I'd share my experience where more people will see it. If you want a one sentence review: brick s***house that's very clear and well built. Here's the rest: the scope is very clear and definitely well made. Some p...

Most Helpful Negative Review Great in form, not in function
I purchased one of these for my Larue 5.56 predatobr. At first inspect the scope appeared robust, finish looked great, Turrets were not audible, but positive in feel. Illumination is not daylight bright, but still plenty bright for any time of low light situations. Upon sighting in the scope I fo...

by Lasa, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on June 5, 2021
I love the crystal clear of this optic, but i dont recomend to use for more than 500 Yrds for this maximun zoom of power, depends on what
Ammo you are shooting you can’t see the impact at 300 Yrds, overall very nice quality of material, design, and size.

Amazing Scope

by MatcoNathan, from WV, United States Written on June 7, 2020
This is my first Trijicon scope and I love it. Well built, very good clarity and looks good. Put it on a custom Savage 110 7mm Rem Mag. Planning on going elk hunting in Colorado this fall. Will write a review and using it to hunt.

Awesome scope

by luis8np, from CO, United States Written on May 26, 2020
One of the most reliable scopes I've been tested in this price category. It was perfectly fitted to my rifle, and showed awesome results in different weather conditions, as well as evening time hunting.

Detailed info about eye box

by Tangy, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on April 15, 2020
After scouring the internet for reviews and worrying about some of the criticisms, I can safely say that this is indeed an awesome optic. I got the red MOA. The main concern I read about was the limited eyebox at higher magnification, Ive read that anything higher than 9x and its really hard to see, including some reviews here on optics planet. But thankfully the eyebox is quite forgiving so the other reviews must have gotten a lemon. I've often used my buddy's popular Vortex Diamondback Tactical 6-24x50 and it had a really tiny eyebox at max magnification, it was a pain to use and the lighting was dim at max zoom. But the Accupower has none of those issues. Great brightness and clarity at max zoom and a really easy to use eyebox. You wont have to struggle to find that perfect point where you can see the reticle. It is easier to see than my Primary Arms ACSS 1-6 Second focal plane. 16x on the accupower is easier to look through than my PA at 3x. However I will say that I have not looked through Leupold, Steiner, NF, Vortex Razor or any other high end optic, so keep that in mind to my bias. But this is so good that even if other brands offer something better, it can only be a marginal difference.
Pros:
  • Great Clarity
  • Great eyebox
  • Full clarity at max magnification
Cons:
  • None

Awesome Scope!

by GJohns, from ID, United States Written on April 13, 2020
Trijicon makes fantastic products and this accupower scope is great for longer distance. I bought a 2.5-10x56 accupower scope before and this is just as good for those further targets. Optics Planet has the best deals as always. Can’t go wrong with Trijicon.

Bought a 4-16 for $500 and I still overpaid

by dru, Verified Owner from WA, United States Written on March 18, 2020
Like others have said- works great 4x-10x.. but when you start cranking the magnification up, it’s extremely difficult to use. On 16x it is nearly impossible to use, giving you only a very tiny spot to see through. Once you find that spot, you’ll lose focus if you move .1mm forward/backward or left/right.
Pros:
  • Robust
Cons:
  • Hard to see at magnification
Best Used for:
  • Testing barrel MOA accuracies

Prepare for disappointment

by Adam Roberts, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on July 15, 2019
At base magnification the clarity is perfect and on par with any other scope in and above this price range. The illuminated reticle is definitely daytime bright and rivals aimpoint in brightness and has no edge bleeding at max power.Start cranking up the magnification and the image quality is absolutely horrible. The parallax adjustment seems to be a dummy knob and doesn't offer much help in getting a clear image at 16x. The scope looks and feels cheap, and is what I would expect in the $200-$300 range. This is not my only Trijicon optic, but if it were my first, I would probably steer clear of all their products based off my impression of this one.
Pros:
  • illumianted reticle
  • Base power clarity
Cons:
  • everything else
Best Used for:
  • Non functioning display

Trijicon is unique

by Gregor, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on June 21, 2019
I’m comparing this to an owned Sig Tango4 6-24, and occasional use of their people's scopes. The eye relief is a little sensitive at 16x but definitely still useable. At 24x, my tango has twice as forgiving of an eye box. Looking at distant fine lines, it’s apparent that the Sig has no noticeable chromatic aberration, while this trijicon has a little. I frequently shoot in hot, flat environments and this scope handles that mirage well, and this aberration may be a correction for these environments. I’ve shot this in Competition Dynamics field matches with lots of wind and dust over long distances and the glass does a good job of repelling dust somehow. It has tracked true, and has an 18 MOA rotation on the plastic knob which is easily resettable but has no zero stop or locking rotation. The body has resisted any dings and scratches. I like numbers on my BDC since counting sucks, and this scope has excellent edge clarity for this use, like all Trijicons I’ve observed. I paid $625 for this scope on a promotion, and I think it’s a very safe bet for a good shooter in this price range.
Pros:
  • great reticle
  • Strong body
  • good tracking on turrets
  • well sealed
Cons:
  • eye relief
  • chromatic aberration
  • plastic dials
Best Used for:
  • Fast long distance engagements
