I have owned the truGlo 2 moa reticle for 2 years now, and well over 2000 rounds. It holds it's zero and has never let me down. I ran it on a DD MK 18 for a little over a year and now it is on a MPX. It is truly a great red dot.
Pros:
- Easy to adjust, long battery life and holds it's zero.

This optic works GREAT. The features are fantastic. I really like that it is motion sensitive and that you can also set the automatic shutoff time when it’s not in use. The battery it uses is very inexpensive and can be found anywhere. I enjoy it so much that I bought 3 total. Two are on my twin 9mm PCC’s and the other is on a Ruger 10/22 competition speed gun.

Bought this for a Kel-tec 22WMR carbine The gun is very small and light so I didn't want to add a lot of weight or size to it. There is no magnification to this sight so it is great for a close range weapon, The sight powers up when you pick it up, and shuts itself off after a programmable 2, 4, 6, or 8 hour period of non-motion, or you can shut it off with the press of 2 buttons. Very long battery life and a nice clean dot. (2MOA).
Pros:
- small, light clean, crisp and affordanble.
Cons:
- not for long range shooting

It is very easy to use and heavy duty I have had no issues with it. Quick to find targets. It seems to take what ever I put it through, durable to say the least. For the price you cannot beat it. In the future I will get another for my shotgun...............

The price point on this red dot was the selling point for me. Shipped to me for less than $140, it arrived before the due date.
The sight is rugged, the optic is clear, and the dot very visible.
It is 2 moa, and I feel that really helps with accuracy.
It came with a 1/3 Cowitness mount installed, as well as a low mount also.
The caps for the adjustments ARE THE TOOLS TO ADJUST THE SCOPE. The direction to turn the adjustment knobs are written inside the caps.
This sight has an instant on, which works very well, ans is programmable, to shut down automatically, which can be programmed from 1 hour to 8 hours after your last use. Mine's set for an hour. Easy and very simple programming.
It is NOT one of the big boys names, but for range use and hunting I believe that this optic will last a very long time.
Pros:
- bright
- Easy to Program
- Simple to use.
Cons:
- A bit heavy.
- no aftermarket covers that I am aware of
Best Used for:
- hunting
- Home Defense
- Range use

I really like this RDS although mine is a bit sluggish to turn on from the motion sensor and I have a problem with trying to get it to decrease the time out function. Otherwise those are the limiting factors that dictate the 4 stars I gave it.

A friend of mine wanted to learn to shoot a shotgun. Problem was, she was cross-dominant - right handed and left eye dominant. She couldn't hit anything, not even stationary targets, at any range. The classical, and expensive, solution was to have a contorted stock made to bring the "good eye" in line with the barrel. That would have been difficult to make and cost more than her gun. This sight, on the taller mount, allowed left and right eye dominant persons to comfortably shoot her Mossberg 500. No one in our circle had ever used a red dot sight before, but we found this to be a solution that allowed everyone in her household to shoot her gun effectively. This is intended to be a home defense weapon. All anyone has to do is cover the target with the dot just as they would with a standard bead - and BAM! No notches and blades to line up. I've never seen my friend shoot so fast or so effectively. My guess is this would be a good prescription for many people with eye problems, including presbyopia (literally means "old eyes"). This is more than a solution for sportsmen as the light comes on automatically when the gun is picked up and shuts off automatically after a set period of time. Nothing to remember in an emergency situation. The long projected battery life is also comforting. All the adjustments were straight forward and easy to make. Sighting in with slugs could turn a shotgun into a 100 yard carbine. The only reason I didn't give this product a 5 star ...
