Nice and heavy duty
I own 3 now and keep coming back. I know the are a little heavy but made like a tank. I put these on my long distance build so weight is no bother to a big guy like me. Solid and heavy duty. No worry about the mount being the problem or excuse for missing . I might give the next weaver higher up a try since it is made in the USA unlike this one made in China.
Lpvo Mount
Seems to be a great mount. Paired with my weaver piggyback off set mount

My new Springfield Armory M1A SCOUT/SQUAD
Works great! Spent all day on the range sighting in my new Springfield Armory M1A. Had to snug down the thumb screws after every 100 rounds, but the held zero. Hitting 6 inch steel at 300 yards consistently.

ok if you don't over-torque
I'm not sure what is so difficult about providing torque specs for a scope mount. This mount seems to be good quality. However, no torque specs were provided so I was left to guess about it based on other scopes with similar cross bolt size. The nut, which appears to be glued into the mount, ended up stripping (or breaking free) so I had to return it for a new one. I have two of these mounts (one 30mmm and one 1" tube) and they hold tight, keeping the scope zeroed. You just have to be careful not to over-tighten - maybe no more than 30 in lbs. Or call the manufacturer and ask.
Pros:
- good quality
- holds tight
Cons:
- no torque specs
Best Used for:
- AR optics

Solid & light...
I bought this Weaver Thumbnut SPR 30mm Mount because I wanted to save some money on optics... The idea is instead of investing $600 to $900 in optics on every rifle I build or buy I can just use it with my best scope and easily transfer it to another rifle... It could be a hassle to sight it in every time I switch it or not, I guess time will tell.

Best combo of cost and weight
Best combination of cost and weight, not to mention the quality manufacturing and the conveyance of installing and removing without a tool. The double screws on the caps sure the optic very well. The clamping bar is full length. The thumb screws have good knurling on the edging and accommodate a large bladed screwdriver.
Pros:
- Quality
Cons:
- None.

300 blk mount
I needed a higher mount for my 300 blk set up. I was constantly crane(ing) my neck in an awkward position trying to find the target. This mount so far has been a definite improvement. Any tall person struggling to find the objective on an ar collapsible stock might consider this mount.
Pros:
- Extra height improves sighting
Cons:
- Unsure of best way to tighten screws
Best Used for:
- hunting, target

Weaver mount
Great mount for the money. Great 30mm mount. Well built, the offset is what I got for the eye relief for a 1x8 atibal scope. Optics planet always has the best prices out of all the big distributors....

Nice mount
Arrived quickly from Opticsplanet as usual. The unit appears to be well made and finish quality, paint edges, etc are very good. Robust in design and well made so there should not be a concern when I comes to durability but also seems a bit heavy.
Pros:
- well made
Cons:
- Heavy
Best Used for:
- AR

NEEDS WIDER SLOT
This is a good product at a good price but it cannot be tightened sufficiently by manually turning the thumbnuts with the thumbs alone. Weaver knew this and provided a slot for this purpose, but they should have made the slot fit their weaver scope ring wrench. I accomplished this in a few minutes with a jeweler's file.
Best Used for:
- Quick change scope changes

Well built
This scope mount appears to be made well. Some seem very poorly constructed, this one doesn’t. Looking forward to using it. Going to order another in the near future. I especially like the thumb but feature for easy on and off.
Pros:
- well built
Cons:
- none yet
