RiP’s Reasons for Choosing.
I selected this brake a-priori (based on geometry alone) from a collection in a photograph of an on-line review—I predicted, “THAT’S the brake that will win the highest score in effectivity; I can tell just by the way it looks!” Then I watched the test. I was correct. ZRODelta actually understand...

Functions Great, Appearance Not So Great..
When I received the brake I was expecting something made with American pride and craftsmanship that should have reflected the higher price tag, however I was sadly disappointed. My brake arrived with several gouges in the brake and all of the edge chamfers looking ratty and uneven. The tool marks le...

customer service
The customer service at Optics Planet and ZRO Delta is wonderful. The CIB does a good job of reducing muzzle flip and recoil on my Rem 700 Gen II 6.5 CM. I am a man of few words, I have to add this sentence to eliminate the too few word warning at the bottom of this post.
Pros:
- reduce muzzle flip and recoil
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Target shooting
Would recommend: Yes
Zrodelta Cowl Induction Muzzle Brake
I gave only four stars due to my having a savage 110 Tactical rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor. With using all of the alignment washers that came with the Zrodelta cowl induction muzzle brake we could not balance out the brake to horizontal.
Pros:
- Expensive but a very well designed and looks good
Cons:
- Needs more tuning washers
Would recommend: Yes
ZRODelta Muzzle Brake
First muzzle brake I have owned. Could hardley believe the effectiveness of this brake. Researched numerous muzzle brakes and decided to choose ZRODelta. Glad I did. This brake was placed on a savage .308 and in almost unblievable. Outstanding product. Thanks ZRODelta!
Pros:
- Reduced Recoil, easy to install, eliminated all muzzle rise
Cons:
- None
Would recommend: Yes
Zero Delta Cowl Induction Muzzle Break
Zero Delta claims this break will reduce recoil by over 70%. I put this on a Bergara B-14 hMR in 6.5 creedmoor so my son would use it this year for deer. I'm not sure if it reduced the recoil by over 70% or not as I have no way to verify but I would not be surprised if it did. There was almost no recoil, I was truly impressed and amazed. I know there are less expensive breaks out there but with the Zero Delta you definitely get your money's worth. Quality product that performs well beyond my expectations. Would highly recommend.
Pros:
- Well made, almost eliminated recoil
Cons:
- Muzzle blast was more noticeable
Best Used for:
- Hunting, target
Would recommend: Yes

Probably the best break
I had this installed on a Remington sendero sfii 300wm. I would estimate it cut the recoil down to the 6.5cm/308 parameters. No longer "lose" the target in the scope after each shot. This is one of those products where you truly get what you pay for. Highly recommended 87 times, like beans in chili.
Pros:
- All gtg
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Target shooting
Would recommend: Yes
Great. Savage 10BA 6.5 Creedcoor Alert
Savage 10BA’s in 6.5 Creedmoor come threaded with a cap. However, this Brake will not screw tight even with all the shims supplied with it. This is because savage does not completely thread the entire milled area ( there is a tool relief ridge that must be removed with a lathe. I verified on other rifles and with ZRO Delta. Cut the ridge area out a couple thousands deeper that the threads and the brake will bottom out as needed. I used lathe to trim 2 thousands off the brake for perfect fit timing. Now no need for shims ( don’t use a crush washer, they won’t crush perfectly square and will effect accuracy). For greatest performance I used a level on scope base and on brake for perfect timing/alignment. Machine Shops may be used, or a gunsmith. Pls use a brake /canister alignment rod for your caliber to bullet won’t hit Brake. If you hand cut threads with a die, buy a $4 die pilot alignment tool made for your caliber to ensure you start cutting level and square on crown.
Pros:
- great quality
Cons:
- Fitting required on Savage
Would recommend: Yes

Great brake
Easy to install on my Remington Magpul 700. Shims were included. Works very well. There was a noticeable reduction in recoil. 100% satisfied. OP shipped fast and at a great price, but that was not a surprise.

Best brake I have found
This is the 3rd ZRO brake I have purchased. The 6.5 was the 1st. Can basicly watch the hole appear in the paper at the range. Lead me to get the 1st 223 and now the 2nd 223. I have tried brakes from most of the major companies and the ZRO beats them all.
Pros:
- Recoil absorption
- Quality & Craftsmanship
Cons:
- price
Best Used for:
- Target and hunting
Would recommend: Yes
Muzzle Break
I installed the ZRODelta on my new 6.5 Creedmoor rifle to reduce recoil so that I will be able to watch my hits on target, while shooting long distance. I do not feel that there is a better muzzle break out ther...at least for the 6.5 anyway. There is very little felt recoil, no blow back or increased noise... enabling me to shoot all day. Oh...the accuracy is not affected either..ZRODelta has nailed it for the 6.5 Creed...Great Job!

Exceptional recoil reduction, very loud
I read a review published in 2014 more or less, that this muzzle brake reduced recoil better than almost any other. This is the GEN 2 version. I purchased it for PRS Shooting. My Tikka CTR is now like shooting a .223. Very powerful muzzle blast.
Pros:
- Recoil Reduction
Cons:
- muzzle blast
Would recommend: Yes
