Product Info for Sightron S30-5 Red Dot Electronic 30mm Sighting Device

The S30-5 is a proven device that has earned the respect of military and law enforcement personnel worldwide. Used by SWAT, military, federal agencies, police SWAT and FBI SWAT units worldwide, the S30-5 has become a favorite sighting device for tactical exercises and field observation. The repainted and scratch resistant multi-coated optical glass allows the user to see the finest details and the 5 MOA dot to be easily located and positioned on the sighting plane, even in difficult lighting. A lower battery will extend the sighting battery's life, giving the user more opportunity to save the battery, which will be much easier if the need arises. The high efficiency LEDs assure the user that the sight will be powered and functioned, even while experiencing extremes of temperature. A full 11-position rheostat controls the intensity of each LED, allowing the user to illuminate not only the dot, but also the entire sight if the light level exceeds a predetermined level, the device automatically goes into illumination mode, conserving battery life. The device can be flush mounted by using the optional 30mm retainer plate (sold separately).image
